Overview

About the property

Tern House is our beautiful refurbished holiday home in the lovely coastal town of Cromer. Cromer is a traditional seaside town with everything you would expect of one. There is a famous pier where the World Pier Crabbing Championships take place in August and the Cromer End of Pier Show takes place. The beaches are beautiful and there are plenty of watersports available. Close by are the beautiful natural beaches of Blakeney, Wells-Next-the-Sea and Cley. Sherringham is only a few miles away with the gorgeous Poppy Line Railway with its steam trains running up to Holt and back.

Tern House is a 3-bedroom terraced house within 5 minutes’ walk of the beach and town centre. It is centrally located within a few minutes of all amenities including the train station and supermarket. At the top of the road are lovely walks across the heath all the way to East Runton and this is a very dog friendly area.

The house sleeps 6/7 people and we do accept pets.

Bedroom 1 has a kingsize bed

Bedroom 2 has 3 single beds

Bedroom 3 has a double bed (note this is the smallest room)

Downstairs there is a lounge with TV, DVD player and Sky.

A dining room with a table and chairs to seat up to 8 and a selection of books and games.

A utility area off the dining room.

Fully equipped kitchen including electric cooker, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave.

Downstairs bathroom with both bath and separate shower.

Outside there is a side access alleyway and a small rear garden with a picnic table.

Parking is on the road and is unrestricted.

Bedlinen included and towels can be provided on request.

We accept 1 well behaved dog.

About The Owner

Tern House is our family holiday home. We have worked hard to make it somewhere comfortable to stay while we explore the Norfolk Coast and enjoy family days on the lovely beaches with our two children and Charlie the dog. This is our first adventure in the holiday let business so we hope you enjoy staying here as much as we do.

Wonderful holiday home in a great location

  • 5 of 5

Thank you for a lovely stay. The house is so much bigger than the pictures suggest, but has a lovely cosy feel. It is well appointed and in a great location for the beach and Cromer town. The beds were so comfortable, the shower great and the central heating wonderfully warm after a bracing walk along the beach to Sherringham. The instructions Alison gave us were spot on and the wine and biscuits a lovely touch. Thank you for making us feel so welcome.

A hidden gem.

The photos of this property don't do it justice. It's a lovely, large house with everything you need for a perfect week away from home. Super comfy beds, a few toys for the younger children and home comforts for a dog if you take one with you. We had a fantastic break here over the new year. The firework display down in Cromer was amazing. Close enough to Norwich and Great Yarmouth to visit. The hippodrome in Great Yarmouth was a real find. Fantastic Christmas show. Parking could be a problem but we managed to get a spot outside Tern House every evening. Morrisons is literally over the road, very convenient. Lots of lovely pubs to visit and so many other things to keep the whole family entertained. Only one thing missing according to my eldest children and that is wifi.

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for your comments. It's lovely to hear that people enjoy it as much as we do. I apologise for the lack of wifi. It is something that we hope to address shortly. I hope that it didn't spoil the break for your family and hope to welcome you back in the future. Kind regards Alison

Thank you. The property was lovely.

Lovely weekend. The house, nicely decorated, clean, tidy and well equipped. A nice welcome of bicuits, cake and wine. (Thank you) A very convenient location, as only a 5 minute walk to the seafront. Weather was fabulous, for October. Unfortunately it was then difficult to park near the property (no off street parking available).

Owner's Response: We are very glad you enjoyed your stay in Cromer. Unfortunately with the close proximity to the seafront and town centre, parking can be difficult occasionally but you can usually park somewhere in the road.
