There is also a kitchen with a dining area and a woodburning stove, a utility, a sitting room with open fire, a second sitting room with electric flame-effect fire and a bathroom. Outside is a lawned garden with a patio and furniture and roadside parking for one car. Whatever your day's activities, Rose's Cottage is in a picturesque location and provides a fantastic base. Amenities: Electric heaters with woodburning stove, open fire and electric fire. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, Smart TV with FreeSat and Netflix, WiFi, digital radio with iPod dock. Fuel, power and starter pack for stove and fire inc. in rent. Rose Cottage is simply beautiful. The owner has made it a home from home.

We love our week at Rose cottage. It is a beautiful and peaceful place. Inside the cottage everything is tastefully decorated and the garden is a lovely place to sit out and admire the view onto the hills. We loved the little touches the cottage came from, including the bird food which attracted a woodpecker family amongst other garden birds. This area of the Lake District is stunning with lots to see and do, including a couple of walks from the doorstep.
