Whole Chalet B&B, sleeps 8 - 12, free ski shuttle

Whole Chalet rental on B&B basis, free breakfast and shuttle to/from ski lifts. Bedrooms can be set up as kingsize or large twin beds. The chalet is 10mins drive to Morzine, 20mins to Les Gets, and 5mins walk into the village centre for bars and restaurants. The chalet is surrounded by pine forests and mountains, with breathtaking views from all the rooms.

Price quoted is based on the rental of the whole chalet, and includes continental breakfast of fruit juice, fruits, selection of cereals, toast or croissant and a hot option.

We take short term bookings (min 3 nights) or full week, with flexible arrival and departure dates.

Just to say a quick hello to introduce ourselves, Lee & Mimi. We set up Alpxscape which offers two affordable accommodations - Studio Marg in Les Gets and Chalet La Grande Vue in Saint Jean d'Aulps, just outside Morzine.

We first came to Portes du Soleil in 2013 and fell in love with the area. Studio Marg, named in memory of Lee’s mum, Margaret, was our first project. Since then, we have been coming to this area and decided to move here permanently when we found Chalet La Grande Vue in July 2015. Blown away by the breathtaking scenery in Saint Jean d’Aulps and the peaceful village life, we took a leap and left our lives in London to begin our journey and adventure in the French Alps. We have been devoting our time in transforming the chalet into what is going to be our home forever, and not just a project.

We live at the top of Chalet La Grande Vue, which means we are available at all times to make sure your stay with us at Chalet La Grand Vue is comfortable and all your needs are catered for. Les Gets is 15 mins away by car so we can easily get to Studio Marg for any emergencies which may arise during your stay.

Chalet La Grande Vue is a special place as you will find out when you stay with us. The first thing you will notice when you arrive at the chalet is the magnificent views of the mountains and valley. It is truly spectacular and offers a relaxing skiing and snowboarding break away from the crowded bigger ski resorts, and yet still have easy access to the vast Portes du Soleil ski area. You can relax in the garden or on the balcony to catch the last ray as the sun sets over the mountains, it is a truly magical place.
