Apartment Midi Romand of Chalet Romand, provides everything you need for a wonderful alpine holiday. Views of Morzine/Avoriaz mountains can be enjoyed through four sets of panoramic floor to ceiling French doors opening onto a sunny wraparound balcony overlooking our large garden.

Travel time of just over an hour from Geneva airport makes travel quick, convenient and hassle free. Daily international flights to Geneva together with an all year round alpine resort makes this the ideal retreat.

Detached and standing in its own grounds Chalet Romand's beautiful apartment is in the sunny open village of Essert Romand, only 3 km from Morzine - the gateway to the Portes du Soleil. Just over an hours journey from Geneva and on the local Balad ‘Aulps Bus stop, perfect!

Midi Romand is light, bright and sunny with stunning mountain views. There is an open plan living, kitchen and dining area, four sets of french doors leading to a wraparound balcony which overlooks our large private garden.

With two lovely double bedrooms, a large comfortable double corner sofa bed in the open plan living room, bathroom with walk in shower and separate toilet, Midi Romand offers all you need after an active day in the mountain air.

With its beautiful open plan seating area free Wi-Fi, TV and stunning views there is time to kick back and listen to some mellow music from the sound system, or bring your own I pod and pop it into the I pod docker. A bookshelf and DVD selection is available- help yourself.

The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, 4 ring gas hob and oven, microwave, dishwasher, kettle and toaster together with ample storage space. The French doors lead to the outside wraparound balcony and seating area - enjoy breakfast al fresco! Midi Romand's lovely two double bedrooms both have quality double beds with wardrobe storage and hanging space which is complemented by separate and secure ski/bike storage .

A delightful, separate bathroom with walk in shower and heated towel rail, separate wc complete the comforts of your alpine experience.

Outside Midi Romand the large beautiful garden provides plenty of outdoor space in winter or summer. The long sweeping driveway allows for ample free parking.

Relax and enjoy beautiful sunsets and views from this lovely mountain retreat.

About Wendy Armstrong

My husband Mike and I first came to Morzine in 2010 and now live here year round. We skied in Canada, USA, Austria and France but the sheer size of the Portes du Soleil ski area, with its easy access via Geneva airport, saw us returning here at every available opportunity.

After spending a summer in Morzine we found that this beautiful alpine area could be enjoyed all year round. As keen mountain hikers and road bikers (well, Mike at any rate) the summer season opened up so many opportunities for us.

A love of good food and wine makes France the perfect place for us.

We hope you love Midi Romand as much as we do.

We live in a beautiful traditional French village which is conveniently situated on the local Balad ‘Aulps Bus service bus stop (winter and summer), allowing easy access to Morzine, Portes du Soleil and surrounding villages. The detached chalet standing in its own large gardens makes it the perfect private retreat. With stunning views in an open sunny position, the two separate apartments and studio make for a tranquil holiday yet with easy access to Morzine and the Portes du Soleil.

What makes this apartment unique

Both of the apartments and the studio are private and self contained. A two minute walk to the local traditional Savoyard bar/restaurant and local bus route (summer and winter), perfect!
