Very close to South Kensington tube and easy walking distance to Knightsbridge, this imposing Period building has a large living room with separate dining area, located adjacent to the kitchen. Down several stairs at entrance at front but when inside the flat its ground floor level overlooking rear garden The drawing room has French doors out to the rear patio, is furnished with great style having some antiques, new quality carpets, feature fireplace, entrance hall, beautiful master bedroom with queen sized bed, with full en-suite bathroom, having bath with shower over, vanity wash hand basin and W.C. All fully tiled and with marble basin. The second bedroom has a twin bed. There is a separate shower room/W.C and marble wash hand basin. There is a very well equipped fully fitted kitchen which has washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge, cooker, utensils etc. Designer soft furnishings.

CHECK IN PROCEDURE:
Please note that whilst official check in is 1pm, we will try to let you check in before 13:00 should you arrive on an early flight. However, i this depends on whether previous guests are leaving that day so a same day changeover. We always do our best to ensure guests have a stress free check in and as little delay as possible. Once we have your full flight/Arrival information, then we will be able to confirm check in arrangements.

Check in times vary between 8am to 3pm Monday to Friday and only when we have your full flight/arrival information can we make check in arrangements. Outside of these hours or weekends, we will need to book our taxi service with key delivery.



OUT OF HOURS ARRIVALS Guests arriving outside normal office hours and weekends should be aware that the taxi transfer service is necessary, so that keys can be provided to the driver in advance, when our office is closed and the driver will ensure youi get into the apartment. The reduced rateTaxi service costs can be provided, depending on the arrival airport and how many people in the party

The taxi is totally NON profit making by us. We organize it for the comfort and security of guests arriving off a long flight and getting into central London. They are met inside the arrivals hall at the airport, helped to the cab and taken directly to the flat. We give the driver the key so there is no waiting around. We use a Licensed London taxi driver in the official London black cab (not necessarily actually black in colour) he is vetted and bonded by Metropolitan Police and is fully insured. The guests do not have to worry about finding the correct address and flat, wandering around the street with heavy luggage and they go straight in – no delays. The driver we use is very experienced, all our guests love him and ask him to take them back too because of the comfort and pleasant way to travel they experienced on arrival. However the return journey is totally up to the individual guests

If guests are not arriving by air but by car or train, whether it be internal or Eurostar, outside normal hours, we will arrange a personal out of hours meet and greet which is at a rate of £60 during the week ( Mon - Fri) until 17:00. Please discuss this with us when making your reservation. We will always try to help where we can.

Eurostar and other train arrivals: Please make sure that the train is scheduled to arrive at the London station terminus they arrive at before 1.30pm latest. This will give you the time to exit the station – this can be very slow – and there can be queues for taxis. Our aim is to ensure guests arrive stress free.

IMPORTANT:
Sadly, occasionally guests do not give the correct information as to who and how many people will be staying in the apartment. In the UK there are strict regulations in respect of maximum occupancy levels. Therefore, please ensure that you provide the names of everyone in your group, and where there are children, please provide their ages. We reserve the right to refuse check in if the number of guests arriving exceeds the number booked.

Premises was charming and couldn’t have been better located, with the natural history museum almost on your doorstep as well as the tube. Communication with Harry the property manager was first rate, and the booking process was simple and stress free. I would have given 5 stars but for a few minor flaws. The hot water was patchy and resulted in a morning of cold showers. And it would have been nice to have had a small amount of coffee, washing powder, shampoo etc. Minor gripes and it might not be common to provide these amenities in the UK, however for a relatively low cost it would have provided a more homely environment and saved the expense of buying a whole container of washing powder for 3-4 washes.

Needs deep clean and better managment
This apartment has an amazing location. Cafes, museums, and the tube are all footsteps away. However, there are drawbacks. The apartment needs a deep clean. The areas that were cleaned were quite clean, however, the baseboards and woodwork and blinds were all caked with dust. This is more than the cleaners could possibly tackle in the few hours between renters. Also, the heat went out when we were there. It was around 9 pm on a Friday night. We reached out to the booking agent and the managment team. No one had WhatsApp to call us, and no one offered to fix the heat that night, even though the low was 34 degrees. The heat was luckily fixed the next morning, but we were repremanded for having contacted the staff on a Friday night. They said that no plumber in England would consider no heat an emergency, and that no apartments in London offer 24-hour service. There were no extra blankets or duvets in the apartment and it was a cold night. Also, while the bedrooms and living room are quite cute, the kitchen looks like it hasn't been touched for many years. Per prior review there is a single, scratched pan. The apartment is well set up for takeout but not cooking. Finally, the description references a "separate dining room," but there is none. There is a dining table in the living room, as reflected in the photos. The taxi service from the airport was great and the booking agent was helpful, but I would not rent an apartment from this managment group again.

Excellent location, beautifully decorated, cookware needs to be replaced
This property is well-located and quite spacious. You enter sub-street level. This is where the trash cans are located for the building. However, that aspect is offset by the charming patio that is the view of the living/dining and second bedroom. The flat is spectacularly decorated and quite cozy. On the surface very clean, but baseboards and behind furniture (which is required to access plugs) are dust filled. We are a family that likes a big breakfast and planned on eating in, but the extremely poor cookware ( peeling non-stick) made that challenging. But otherwise the kitchen fully outfitted with lovely dishes and knives that actually slice. We were very happy with all other aspects and thought it delivered very strong value. Would stay there again (and bring my own pan, teehee).

Family trip to London
My family, girls ages 13 and 16 traveled to London for 9 days and stayed at this property in South Kensington. The location was perfect and the South Kensington tube station was a 3 minute walk. There were many great restaurants and shops all within a 5 minute walk. We used the private taxi service to and from the airport which was very convenient. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was also super helpful for a long stay. Took us awhile to figure out we needed to dump the condensation container on the dryer but we finally got it right. Would highly recommend this property for families staying in London.

Unbelievable stay and amazing hosts
Could not have been happier with our amazing time at 14 thurloe. Spectacular neighborhood with wonderful restaurants and shops and steps away from the tube. Easy checkin and clean safe and welcoming apartment. Would easily stay here again. Would also highly recommend Derek who was a wonderful driver to and from the airport. We also want to thank Harry and Joan who were very helpful when we had a lockout and helped us right away. Cannot say enough good things about this cozy, warm, welcoming rental. Just perfect. :)
