About the property

Brand new chalet with four bedrooms renovated to a high standard

Chalet Vallon is a recently renovated chalet in the pretty village of Chandon. It has four bedrooms which can sleep 8 in total. There are 3 double bedrooms which can convert to twin beds if needed and a bunk room with beds suitable for both adults and children. The 3 double bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and there is a further separate shower room with toilet. It has a wonderful top floor living/kitchen/dining room with views to the mountains including Mont Vallon. This room has a wood burning stove and other rooms have underfloor heating with individual controls. There is a basement with a washer/dryer and freezer and also a television. This room also has boot warmers and storage for skis and bicycles. There is wifi access throughout.

The chalet has 2 private parking spaces. However the chalet is next to the bus stop where a free bus service runs throughout the winter ski season and in the summer months of July and August.

Beautiful chalet in a great location

Highly recommended, recently refurbished chalet next to the ski bus stop. Everything was great, right from booking and communication with Linda. The ski bus picks you up right next to the chalet, but you do have to walk up the hill from the main road on return - leave your skis up in the resort to make the journey back easier.

Très joli chalet

Le chalet est vraiment confortable et bien équipé et peut accueillir 8 personnes dans de très bonnes conditions.

L'inconvénient de ne pas être au pied des pistes est largement compensé par le confort d'avoir beaucoup plus d'espace.

De plus, l'accès au piste est très facile grâce à la navette (Méribus) qui passe presque au pied du chalet. Avec de bonnes conditions d'enneigement le retour ski au pied (ou presque) doit être possible.

Location

Our chalet is in the pretty village of Chandon just 5 minutes from Meribel. Meribel is a summer and winter resort. In summer you can go cycling and mountain biking, walking or mountaineering, play golf or tennis and go horse riding. In winter Meribel and the Three Valleys is a busy ski resort both for downhill and cross country skiing. There is a sports centre in Meribel with a swimming pool, gym facilities and an ice rink and a brand new sports centre in Courcheval, a short drive away.
