Sunny 2 bed apartment,sea view, perfect for families, Wifi, sunset dining

This modern and spacious 2 bedroom apartment is situated in the heart of Praia da Luz with stunning sea and garden views. The apartment is less than 3 minutes walk to the beach and every amenity is at your doorstep. The apartment is on the second floor of the newly built Palm Bay building surrounded by beautiful gardens and foot paths. There is a private car park right near the building which you are able to use free of charge when you stay with us.

There is a spacious and sunny balcony that receives direct sunlight from about 11am until sunset, perfect for sunbathing and sunset dinners.

The bedrooms are set up as two kings by default, but if you let me know in advance we can have them made up as twins.

Fresh towels are provided, one bath towel and one hand towel per guest per stay. All bed linen is fresh before you arrive and is only changed if staying more than 10 days.

The fully equipped kitchen has granite worktops, a large fridge freezer, clothes washing machine, microwave, toaster, kettle, fan oven and induction hobs.

There is one bathroom, complete with bathtub, shower, bidet, sink and toilet.

There is also wifi and television. A range of Portuguese, British, German and French channels.

The apartment is perfect for all four seasons of the year. We have installed a pellet burning stove to keep you extra warm on those cooler winter evenings. We also provide an electric mattress warmer, turn it on for one hour before bed.

In summer, open the windows at night for the cool sea breeze.

Hi, I'm Ben! I'm a British/Canadian born and raised in Portugal. After living in the UK for many years, I have concluded that there is no-where else I'd rather be than here on the sunny south coast of Portugal.

We have lived at the property in the past. We enjoy the calm and relaxing Luz lifestyle. Living in central Luz couldn't be easier with everything within a 5 minute walk.

The best part is waking up every morning and looking out over the ocean.

What makes this apartment unique

The Palm Bay building is one of the newer developments in Praia da Luz, yet the most central. Many properties in Luz suffer from damp and salt corrosion, especially noticeable in the winter months. All of the Palmbay units are very well built and are comfortable all year round.

In winter we have the perfect setup to keep you nice and warm all evening.

The app. was really ok and gave us full satisfaction also the app. environment but we didn't find

praira "Luz city" so lovely...One big negative point of our stay were the 3 dogs behind the app.

barking early ! in the morning and evening (during the day we were not home) and this was really very irritating (dogs were not attmitted to the property environment... !)!!!

Otherwise we loved the nature and the surfing places for our children: this was all "great"!!!

Appartement in gut fußläufiger Strandnähe. Sauber. Guter Haus-Strand für Jung und Alt.

Abwechslungsreiche Umgebung. Gut sortierter Supermarkt. Gute Bars und Restaurants.

Badezimmer etwas klein und schon einige Gebrauchsspuren.

Praia da Luz

Praia da Luz is situated on the Algarve's south coast. This beautiful beach is less than 3 minutes walk from the apartment. There are many beautiful beaches within 15 minutes drive, some of which you can find all to yourself. The west coast of Portugal is about 25 minutes drive away, where you will find endless National Park forests, which meet the clifftops that drop down to the wavy Atlantic ocean.

With fantastic sunny weather most of the year, the Praia da Luz area is perfect for anyone wishing to play tennis, golf, surfing, hiking, mountain biking, swimming or even just sitting on the beach.

Praia da Luz has every amenity to offer: There are great beachfront bars, cafe's, pubs and restaurants which cater for both locals and internationals alike. There is a water-sports hut on the beach which offers jet-skiing, wake boarding, windsurfing and sailing to name a few. There is an excellent and well stocked supermarket two minutes walk from the apartment (Supermercado Batista). The village also has a bank, a dentist, a few hairdressers, a doctor's surgery, a dentist, two pharmacies, a post office, car rental, swimming pools and much more.

The town of Lagos is 5 minutes drive east of Praia da Luz. Here you will fantastic local cuisine, buzzing nightlife, good shopping and of course many more beaches. Ponte de Piedade is a headland jutting into the sea full of beautiful caves, turquoise waters and tiny little beaches. The best way to explore these is to rent a kayak from Praia da Batata, near the marina. You could also explore these by boat on a lazier day.

For those keen on Golf, there are four or five golf courses within 15 minutes' drive. For those interested in surfing, the west coast has waves all year round, and the south coast usually has smaller waves in spring and autumn.

Our top three restaurants in Praia da Luz are: Cafe a Fabrica, the Fortaleza and Ondas da Luz.
