Homelea Cottage is ideally situated within walking distance of shops and restaurants and only a 6-7 mins walk to the heart of Canterbury City, heaped with history. Visit, the Cathedral, Museums, Theatre, Restaurants or amble through the cobbled streets with an array of shops.
My place is good for couples, families, and groups of up to 7 people. Fully furnished has 3 large double bedrooms & an office/play room in the attic. A lounge and a separate dining room. A modern galley kitchen and a large family bathroom. (one of the rooms has a shower in the room) A small garden with lawn at the rear of the property.
Homelea Cottage is a grade 2 listed 17th Century building; built in 1695, and has a wealth of beams. Truly a character house and love and care has gone into restoring this house to the glory it is today. It is a house cared and nurtured for. The whole house has a real lovely character feel. Opposite the street you have the "Sportsmans Cafe" who does a great breakfast & lunch if you didnt want to cook, is open from 6am until 2.30pm.
Guest Access
The guests have access to the whole house and the garden is the left hand side as it shares with my tenants who live at Maynard Cottage next door and there everyone is friendly too.
Interaction with Guests
If you have any problems at all, do please telephone me and I will be there at the end of the phone to help and if needed will come in to see you. When you arrive I will give you the code to the door key safe, then once you have arrived, I will come and meet you to answer any questions you may have. I run a b&b in Chilham called Homelea so I`m friendly and approachable. I`ve been in the hospitality trade since 1989 and love meeting people. You can check us out on Tripadvisor or airbnb profile.
The Neighbourhood
