"Casa Bella Vista" is a 140 metres square (plus Tuscan garden) unique second floor apartment nestled under the Medieval towers of Vicopisano and offers spacious living full of Tuscan charm. Unlike most apartments in the Medieval centre, "Casa Bella Vista" can be accessed by a lift /elevator.

The apartment is housed in an old Medieval residence - a "Tower House" that belonged to the old walls of the Castle of Vicopisano: the property is right in the Historic centre.
The property has been restored to the highest standards.

"Casa Bella Vista" is the perfect choice for a family..also with children: the Attic space, directly under great Tuscan beams, has been converted into a spacious children's zone/or group zone with 4 single beds. The 4 single beds can be used also by Adults: in the Attic space there is a corner to relax with sofa and mood lighting which can be changed at the touch of a botton.

Both two large double bedrooms are served by two bathrooms , one en - suite, and overlook the surrounding countryside and the hills of Mount Pisano .

- DINING & KITCHEN ZONE

Spcious and tastefully decorated with antique copper cooking pots displayed on the walls, , the Tuscan stone built Kitchen offers the ideal place to stay togheter around the large wooden table (can seat up to 8), the perfect gathering place for a family or a group of friends. The kitchen is fully equipped with hob, microwave, oven, dishwasher, fridge, TV, Air Conditioning.. and a lovely WELCOME PACK waiting for you! Near the kitchen there is a utility area with washing-machine and everything needed to clean the house.

With wonderful views over the surrounding hills and garden below the stone Kitchen at "Casa Bella Vista" is a wonderful area to prepare, cook and enjoy your home cooked Tuscan meal. The room is very traditional with a large Tuscan chandelier hanging from the character bamed ceiling. Shuttered windows are fitted with mosquito screens.

-LIVING AREA: Preceding the entry to the rooms there is the living area designed to sit comfortably, reading a book or drinking tea.

- BEDROOM 1 - MASTER BEDROOM with en-suite - lovely views over the hills

This Master bedroom is spacious and airy with traditional beamed ceiling and a large Queen-size comfortable wrought iron bed so typicl of the region. A large closet, a dresser and a toiletta ladylike embellish the room with charm. Shuttered windows are fitted with mosquito screens.

The Master bedroom ha an en-suite shower room with a big shower box, WC, bidet and a washbasin set in an old sewing machine. Bed linens and bathrobes are provided to lounge in. This air-conditioned.

-BEDROOM 2 - lovely views over the hills -

The large airy bedroom has a comfortable Queen-size bed and genuine antique furnishings. Large closet and a fine dresser adorn the room. Bed linens and bathrobes are provided to lounge in. This Air-Conditioned.Shuttered windows are fitted with mosquito screens.

- BEDROOM 3 - ATTIC - stairs access - 4 single beds
The Attic can comfortably accommodate 4 people in single beds both children, teens and adults.
There is a plenty of space to lounge around and play games and a corner with sofa in front of a large wooden mural of the world. Creative led lighting has been installed to change the mood of the room from relaxing tones for sleeping to brighter hues which change colour chich will certainly delight younger guests. Although this room has been designed with kids in mind, the single beds are large enough to spleep Adults.
TV, Air-continioned, wardrobe, relaxation and games area, linens and towels provided.

-MAIN BATHROOM: The main bathroom is situated close to both bedrooms and exactly at the bottom of the stairs leading attic. The bathroom has high quality fixtures and fittings and a shower cubicle with WC, bidet and hand basin set in an old sewing machine. Bathrobes are provided to lounge in.

-GARDEN & OUTSIDE SPACE:

The apartment has the advantage of being housed in a Medieval House-Tower with garden space at the rear of the house which is quite unusual in the Historic centre.
The garden is full of Tuscan character with typical olive trees and it is shared with the other guests or residents of the Medieval building: the space is furnished with garden furniture and sun umbrella.The garden is the perfect place to relax in the sun. Also we are very close to the most beautiful beaches of Tuscany so if you want to have a sunbath in swimwear you will be spoiled for choice! Children are certainly allowed to play in the garden, we only ask Italian siesta time between 2.00pm and 4.00pm is respected.

-ACCESS/PARKING:

"Casa Bella Vista" is situated on the second floor of a Medieval House-Tower and can be accessed by a lift/elevator. There is a free car parking spaces along the street where the property is situated and a resident's car park is approximately 200 metres away. (Entrance in Via Trombi). There are two entraces to the property: the main entrance is in Via Lante the main road of the historic centre - you enter through an old doorway into a spacious hallway - from here you may access your private entrance. The other entrance - better if you arrive with the car- is in Via Trombi with the free car parking along the street.

-INFO ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE

We are used to receiving our guests from 15.00 to 20.00 (wonders kindly advise if you had requested otherwise).
It requires you to leave the apartment before 11.00 am (flexible hours on request).

Wonderful! Fantastic Tuscan holiday.

Roberta, Francesca and Giovanni were fabulous and attentive hosts. From before we arrived Roberta was in contact to make sure we would have everything we needed. Then Francesca and Giovanni were there when we arrived with a warm welcome and we’re reassuringly on hand should we have needed anything. Nothing was too much trouble. You really are made to feel like you have a friend on the end if the line to help should you need it. The apartment is gorgeous and beautifully furnished with everything you need for your stay. It lives up to its name with the beautiful view from the window! Upon arrival there is a fantastic welcome pack with wine, tea, coffee etc, pasta and sauce for making your 1st meal and a generous selection of fruit (I especially enjoyed the peaches!). There is also basics for cooking such as oil, salt and pepper, few spices, garlic etc all ready and waiting. Vicopisano itself is wonderful. Lots to see locally with bars, bakery, small supermarket, ice cream parlour and restaurants. All making you feel welcome. Great pizza and Calzone from Le Belle Torri. A tour around the fortress is a must. You are also only a short drive away from Pisa, Lucca, Florence and many other places. There are very useful information folders in the apartment with details of loads of places to visit. If you go to Florence, we recommend driving to Villa Constanza and then getting the tram into Florence itself. You are also only a short drive to the sea and there are some very nice, family beaches at Marina Di Vecchiano. It was quite busy in some areas but still just lovely. L'Osteria del Parco Restaurant there has fantastic seafood and friendly service with Frank Sinatra playing the background. Highly recommended! Visit the local olive farm in Vicopisano for delicious oil, red wine and kiwi liqueur! Overall, we had an amazing week in Vicopisano at Casa Belle Vista. It has become a firm favourite and we hope to be able to visit again. Thank you Roberta, Francesca and Giovanni xx

Charming , authentic amazing experience!

Where to start! Roberta was an amazing host right from the time of booking. The pictures do not do this property and area justice, it was awesome! We were treated to a typical Tuscan holiday complete with a private olive oil and wine tasting session. Roberta and her fabulous assistant Francesca looked after our every need, from ordering taxis to setting up and accompanying us for a truly delightful wine and olive oil tasting experience. Nothing was too much trouble! The apartment is huge with every home comfort you would desire. We were greeted with the most fabulous welcome pack I have ever experienced, including fruit, pasta, sauce, tea, coffee, wine and prosecco! Roberta, Francesca, vicopisano and the property deserves a 10/10 and I can’t wait to return!!

Casa Bela Vista Fabulous could not fault

If you plan to holiday in Tuscany you must go to Vicopisano and you must use one of Roberta’s apartments. After a short drive from Pisa airport Roberta met with a warn Italian greating. The apartment has all you need lovely comfy beds well appointed kitchen and a large welcoming hamper pack with 2 good wines. Roberta was always on hand to help and would pop in if and when we needed help. Her enthusiasm is boundless as letting her properties is a passion not a business to make you have a memorable stay with her. We had a fantastic time in Casa Bella Vista with all major Towns/ villages within an easy drive or the train station to Florence 15 min drive. Thank you Roberta for all you time spent with us 4 making a holiday to remember and will be returning next year. Phil, Sylvia John & Mim.

Tuscan Dream Home

Our stay at Casa Bella Vista was everything we were hoping for our Tuscan holiday! It is sparkling with light, comfortable beds and bedding, beautifully decorated, includes every necessity, and it's super clean! The location is excellent for adventuring in Tuscany, and it is situated in a quaint rustic village. Roberta, the property manager went above and beyond to meet our needs, she is a gem! She thoughtfully prepared a space for our grandbaby ahead of time, we felt so welcomed and cared for, we were greeted with wine and the makings of a pasta dinner and fresh fruit for breakfast. She was so helpful at each point of contact and and provided us with many useful tips for enjoying our stay. The kitchen has a huge table for family dinners and relaxation together. A wonderful experience, this property is highly recommended.

A little piece of Tuscan Heaven!

I booked Casa Bella Vista in order to share a significant birthday with family and friends; 8 of us and three more in the sister apartment downstairs. It looked perfect in the photos and was even better in reality....spacious, beautifully decorated,well situated in a small but very welcoming hill town and run by an excellent hostess, Roberta. She could not have been more helpful or more enthusiastic about her lovely home town! Everyone was thrilled and the highlight was a marvellous in-home cooking class that she arranged, perfect for all my guests who ranged in age from 8 to 72. Would highly recommend this to anyone with a love of Italy and of life in a medieval village.

I am Roberta, a young Tuscan girl born and raised in Vicopisano, who decided to personally take care of the properties of my family.
After my degree in History at the University of Pisa, I decided to combine my greatest passions: the knowledge of my land, Tuscany, and the spirit of hospitality that has always characterized my typical, and large, Italian family.
I am ready to welcome you to "Casa Bella Vista", large apartment located in an old House-Tower, a real typical corner of authentic Tuscany: completely restored from my family, will welcome you with its Tuscan style .. and there will certainly all comfort so that you feel at home!
