About the property

2 bedroom, 2 bathroom luxury appointed apartment with pool, mountain & sea views

Open plan Lounge & Dining with marble floors with patio doors leading to spacious terrace. Flat screen TV with DVD player. Designer Italian furniture complimented by contemporary art work give a very stylish yet relaxing ambiance. Apartment has WiFi and many English and international TV channels.

Masterbed - colonial 4 poster kingsize bed, with ceiling fan and freestanding electric floor fan.Patio doors to terrace. Hardwood closets, marble floor & en suite with bath & shower over, double vanity, bidet & WC.

2nd Bedroom - can be set up as either Twin or Super King. Large bay window with mountain views.

The apartment is usually set up for 4, however, we can add additional beds, totalling 6 if required for an extra charge.

Kitchen -The Kitchen has hardwood shutters that open to the lounge allowing the cook not to feel shut off from the rest of the apartment. Fully equipped with oven, hob, microwave and dishwasher with granite work surfaces and Fridge Freezer.

Utility Room - Washing machine, iron & ironing board .

Terrace - overlooking the pool with far reaching views along the coast and back towards the mountains. The terrace has a shaded section where a dining table & chairs seats up to 8 .There is a beautiful lantern to illuminate the terrace of a night time.

There is also an open section of terrace that has outdoor seating, a sofa & 2 armchairs with a coffee table. Perfect for those pre dinner drinks al fresco.

The apartment is located on the first floor and there is private parking with direct lift access .

There are 6 swimming pools on the Urbanization, 2 being very large. The pool in front of the apartment is surrounded by lush tropical landscaped gardens, with sun loungers, some umbrella shading and toilets. From the pool there are again fabulous views down to the coast.

There is one heated outdoor pool a few minutes walk away.

The Club House is a few minutes walk away (downhill). There you have access to a 9 hole par 3 challenging golf course. Tennis, Paddle Tennis, Boules Pit, Children's play area and a recently refurbished Gym.

The Club House offers an extremely good bar & restaurant, with BBQ's on a Sunday.

Why Wendy Purser chose Ojén

This apartment was love at first sight as soon as I saw the views from the terrace. They are literally breathtaking.

I'd like to think that I can offer you a little slice of my dream here. I've decorated the apartment in a stylish yet comfortable way. You will find everything you could possibly want inside. Yet I'm sure that the majority of the time you will be out and about exploring the myriad of things to do here on the Costa del Sol. It offers so much to all types and pretty much always in sun shine!

Still it's always great to come back to a base that feels like home.

What makes this apartment unique

It's hard to choose between the views, the UNESCO Biosphere location or its proximity to all that the coast has to offer as to what's best about this apartment. The choice of pools, golf courses and beaches are abundant. It's quiet location is also a big draw.

Silk blackout curtains or electric shutters ensure total darkness if required. Patio doors lead on to the terrace and the en suite bathroom can only be accessed via the bedroom itself.

Beautiful, spacious and well equiped apartment

The apartment is about a 10 minutes ride up the hill from Elviria. It is very spacious, clean and beautifully furnished. It has a spectacular view over the hills down to the sea. The pool is sufficiently large, clean and is enclosed by a nice garden. The proprietor is very nice and helpful. The one thing that we were not too happy about was that the airconditioning didn't function and that it was not possible to have it repaired during our stay (that explains the four instead of five star rating). Despite this we have enjoyed our stay here very much!

The luxury apartment is located in area of natural outstanding beauty that has been awarded UNESCO World Biosphere status. There are an abundance of protected cork & oak trees plus rare plants and birds. The apartment is in an elevated position with far reaching amazing views to both coast and mountains.

It is 5 minutes drive to the biggest golf complex in Europe- La Cala Golf which also has an amazing Spa facilities. There are an abundance of golf and tennis facilities nearby as well as a Par3 course, tennis, paddle tennis and newly refurbished Gym free to use on site at El Soto Club House.

The Club House also has a casual and relaxed bar & restaurant, offering great views onto the golf course from the outside terrace.

Nearby in the chic resort of Elviria you have plenty of restaurants, bars and shopping. There is also the world renown Nikki Beach nearby for those that like to shake it up a little.

For the more family oriented the resort of La Cala de Mijas offers everything you could possibly need with its family friendly restaurants and fine sandy beach.

The bright lights of Marbella & Puerto Banus are a short drive away. Marbella Old Town offers a wealth of character with its delightful Orange Square, cobbled streets with designer boutiques and world class restaurants.

See how the other half live in the Uber Yachted Marina at Puerto Banus. Super cars, designer boutiques and the infamous Sinatra's bar. If the designer labels are too pricey for you there is always the excellent La Canada shopping mall nearby to appease those shopaholics!

Old world Spanish village life can be seen in all its mountain whitewashed glory in the charming Mijas Pueblo a half hour drive away. Where you can still ride a donkey or take a horse & cart ride around the town. In summer months the out door amphitheater hosts great musical concerts. There is also a small bullring thats still working and has a museum.

The city of Malaga also has to be mentioned. Amazing tapas bars, covered food market, historical architecture, great shopping and the Picasso Museum all in a city that can be walked easily.
