Very spacious apartment in the south of Tenerife in lovely resort

This privately owned 3 bedroom apartment is situated on the Fairways Club complex in Amarilla Golf just 10 minutes drive from Tenerife South Airport. The apartment is managed bij Fairways Club Resort, providing 24hour checkin/checkout, cleaning and maintenance. This 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom apartment has groundfloor south facing private terrace overlooking the central pool area. Sleeps up to 6 people, in 3 bedrooms. Groundfloor access with no stairs! The lounge has 50 inch flat screen TV, DVD player and Panasonic music system. Air con, ceiling fan, leather sofa's, table and 6 dining chairs. The fully equipped kitchen with full oven and hob, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, filter coffee machine and all suacepans and utensils. Washing machine. Dishwasher. There are 3 bedrooms each with their own bathroom. Each bedroom has air-conditioning and ceiling fan. The bathrooms have a shower, toilet, washbasin and hairdryer. The large south facing private poolside terrace, with shady area, is equipped with 6 sun loungers, patio table and chairs, plastic garden chairs, sunbrellas and clothes airer. Ironing board and iron. The apartment has its own private safe. Cots and high chairs available on request at time of booking at no extra cost. WIFI: the complex provides a pay use for wifi (ask at reception). There is a FREE use wifi in the games area. There is also an internet room. Sun towels are available for rental, ask at Fairways Club reception. Mobility scooters are not permitted inside teh apartments. Wheelchairs are permitted. Strictly NO SMOKING in the apartment. Pets are not permitted on the complex. There is a heated pool with lifeguard on duty during the daylight hours. There is a Clubhouse restaurant, a central pool bar, hairdresser and beauty salon. Mini market across the road.

Family holiday for 7

We normally go all inclusive but on this trip we decided to go self catering due to going with our extended family and granddaughter (baby). We enjoyed the freedom of our own very large sun terrace which is right next to and on the same level of the pool. The owner Dirk was very accommodating with arrival and departure times meeting us personally for both. The kitchen is well equipped with pretty much all you would require. The rooms are comfortable enough and your towels are changed once during a weeks stay. On arrival at the property it was evident the property had not been unused for possibly a few weeks as there was a damp type smell. This did disappear after having the doors and windows open for some time. It was also evident that the floors were rather dusty as the baby's clothing became very dirty within only half an hour of arriving at the property and on further inspection under the beds and sofas was also very dusty and dirty. This issue could have all been sorted by a visit from the cleaners the morning before we arrived. The property is in our view in general need of redecoration with some general soiling to the walls and some of the kitchen unit doors had blown due to moisture ingress. On a similar note the dishwasher plate and cup racks were in a poor state with much of the plastic coating missing and the metal work heavily rusted due to this. With all the above in mind we still enjoyed our stay with the freedom it gave us. The pool is nice and there are table tennis tables and a dart board you can use by renting from the reception. We ate at the poolside club house and the food was nice and reasonably priced. There are other bars and restaurants within walking distance which we did sample, again very nice but the immediate surrounding area is very quiet compared to bigger resorts like los Christianos. We hired a couple of cars as there were 7 in our party and this allowed us the freedom to travel and see more of the island and local resorts. Overall we did enjoy our stay and the apartment met the needs of our party providing a homely environment, giving us the freedom to put the baby to bed and not be stuck in a hotel room all night which had previously done in October last year.

This is a fantastic apartment, with everything you need for a holiday in it massive south facing balcony with 6 sun beds overlooking the pool getting the sun from sunrise to sunset, ground floor so easy access for cases & golf clubs if you bring any. Two testing golf courses nr by, I would say you really need a car here to get out and about more, would definitely come back here.

Perfect location

We had such a wonderful stay in this fab apartment. The south-facing terrace is enormous and looks out over the pool, but you still get a decent amount of privacy as it is a little higher than the pool area. Our kids are 9-12 and it meant we could keep an eye on them at the pool without having to bother moving ourselves! Also handy for passing down forgotten towels, goggles etc. The apartment has everything you need and everything is in great condition. There was always something going on for the children during the day without being 'in your face' and it helped our shy kids make friends pretty easily. We would love to come back here - this is definitely one of our favourite places we have visited.
