2 bed villa, newly refurbished to a high standard, on the preferred South Finger

Fully modernized contemporary 2 bedroom self-catering villa located in a prime location on the South Finger of Jolly Harbour, within yards of one of the most beautiful beaches in Antigua, the property boast's ocean/ harbour/ mountain/ garden views, this unique villa has been completely modernized and is perfect for groups of friends or families (up to 4 people) to enjoy a laid back vacation.

As well as air conditioning throughout, the villa also has ceiling fans to benefit from the trade winds that flow through the villa, The property is also equipped with wifi, flat-screen TV , US and UK power plugs as well as USB Charger points.

Downstairs is a large and spacious open plan living area with a kitchen, a lounge with full width glass doors that lead to the indoor/outdoor covered dining area with Gas Barbecue grill and seating for up to 8 people, 2 large sun loungers are provided on the extended deck to relax and enjoy the beach and harbour views.There is also a 25 ft Boat Jetty for mooring your Yacht. There is a convenient cloakroom/half bathroom downstairs, and a parking space in front of the villa suitable for a golf buggy or car. There is a small garage with 4 bicycles for use at your own discretion.

The kitchen is fully-fitted with mod cons (kettle, toaster, coffee machine, milk frother, large fridge/freezer (with ice maker and filtered drinking water dispenser) So no more plastic bottles!!, dishwasher, washing machine, ceramic hob, oven, microwave and a wide range of cooking & dining items.

Stairs lead up to two bedrooms, the double room contains 2 single beds (can be converted to a super king using a converter which we can provide)

The larger master bedroom has a UK King size/US Queen size bed that faces a full glass wall with small balcony allowing for ocean and harbour views when you wake up. There is ample cupboard and drawer space in each bedroom.

Both Bedrooms have en suite wet room's with contemporary fittings including a rain shower, large mirror and US,UK shaver socket and US waterproof hairdryer plugs.

Jolly Harbour is a gated community with 24-hour security, located in the west of the island bordering the beautiful turquoise Caribbean Sea where we have some of the island's best beaches - Jolly, Fryers, Darkwood and Turners beach.

Within Jolly Harbour there is a large supermarket with local, regional and international food brands, a commercial center with restaurants, banks, ATMs/cash points, a pharmacy, a hairdresser/beauty salon, souvenir shops, car hire, golf cart hire, launderette, office facilities, real estate agents, boat companies, tour operators, sports facilities including a large Swimming pool, tennis courts, a squash court, a gym and a golf-course. Most facilities in Jolly Harbour are within easy walking/cycling distance, or you might want to consider hiring a golf cart to get around quicker, and they're a lot of fun too!

The airport is 30 minutes away, St John's (the capital city) is 25 minutes away, English Harbour is 40 minutes away, by car or taxi.

We have been visiting the Caribbean for over 10 years and Antigua for the last 4 years as its one of the most beautiful Islands with direct flights from the U.K, USA and Canada,

We have lived in Wiltshire in the UK for the last 10 years but love our time spent in Jolly Harbour and return at least three times a year.

This Villa is positioned in one of the best locations of the Jolly Harbour complex, firstly South Finger is far better than the North Finger for location, all amenities and supermarket, secondly the villa is a very short walk to the beach which can only be described as truly amazing!! The property is furnished more as our 2nd home and not a holiday rental.

What makes this villa unique

250 D is one of the only properties that has been renovated with the environment in mind, one thing that property owners in Jolly Harbour forget to mention is that the Government supplied water to all Villa's is 'Not recommended' to drink, so guests have a daily commute to the supermarket to purchase bottled water.

When refurbishing we invested in a 5 filter water filtration system that allows Guests to drink the filtered water from the fridge dispenser, this also produces Ice, Cubed or Crushed and helps save on plastic Bottles!

The property also has other energy and water saving system's in place to make the modern traveler feel home from Home. An Eco Energy water heater, Eco shower heads and Eco Sense A/C units to help with the properties low Carbon footprint. The property has USA, UK power plugs and USB built in chargers so no need for travel plugs or adapters.

Antigua has 365 beaches, one for each day of the year, all of which are open to the public all year round. The unspoilt island of Barbuda can be visited via the Barbuda Express ferry for a day visit or there are sailing trips available if you want to stay for a few days. If you want to capture the amazing scenery of the whole island and surrounding areas then a helicopter tour is a must, you will see just about all of Antigua's coastline and you could also fly over Montserrat and get a closer look at an active volcano!! You could also take advantage of one of the many catamaran tours, Wadadli Cats or Treasure Island Cruises, to see the island from the sea and snorkel in crystal clear waters. Deep sea diving is available, with Jolly Dive,they go out daily to dive at Cades Reef and other location including wrecks.From Jolly Harbour Marina there are also deep sea fishing trips,. There are many places of interest to visit in Antigua including Nelson's Dockyard, English Harbour and Shirley Heights where on a Sunday afternoon there is a BBQ with a live Steel Band playing until sunset when a local reggae band takes over, not to be missed!! St John's is around a 10 minute drive from Jolly Harbour where there is a good duty free shopping area. Tours are also available by land - Island Safari takes you through Antigua's rain forest and you will take in amazing views of the island and the sea. You can also do the zip lines through the rain forest and get a spectacular view from the tree tops. However if all you want from your holiday is sun, sea and relaxation then you have to go no farther than a two minute walk to, what we believe, is the most beautiful beach on the island, right on your doorstep!!!
