Me and my family had a lovely weekend at this beautiful cottage. The views are amazing and it was lovely having the farm animals in the surrounding fields. We were made to feel so welcome and it was lovely coming into the cottage to find the fresh eggs and chocolate brownie that had been left for us! Thank you so much for a brilliant weekend!
Excellent quality accommodation, brilliant contemporary refurbishment in a traditional setting. Fabulous views...
The owners were really friendly and helpful in a sticky situation involving a lot of snow!
As the title says, we stayed at the cottage for 2 nights in a February (not long enough-will have to go back!), Cath and Dave were so friendly and helpful, quick to respond to messages. Wow, the cottage is beautiful, clean, warm, cosey and the cake, eggs and doggy bits was such a sweet gesture. We were a family of 4 adults, 2 boys and a dog and we all had a great time. From here we went to Heights of Abraham which is about 50 minutes drive, great day out. You must try the chip shop in New Mills, fantastic food and value for money. On our way home we went via Dovedale but equally it is very do able in a day as only about 50 minutes drive. Thank you again, for a great weekend. We will be back!
There is no negative what so ever. Spacious barn, full of character with floor heating and comfy beds. Very clean through every room. Would definitely recommend this property highly. Owners are very kind and friendly as well. On our arrival they even gave us free range eggs from their farm and home made cake. We had an amazing time there.
I stayed here with my family and parents and it is amazing.
Cath and David are great hosts who have thought of everything and could not be more welcoming. The cottage is in a great location was spotless with s warm homely feel.
Our dog was also made very welcome with blankets, treats and bowls, she loved it.
I would recommend a stay here and Cath’s homemade cake is worth a stay on its own.
Thank you Cath and David - we didn’t want to come home!
