Beautiful home in a beautiful location

  • 5 of 5

Pete and Annette are wonderful hosts. Extremely helpful and with a fantastic welcome pack of information with a lovely treat of a bottle of bubbly chilling in the fridge. The house is beautifully decorated and well thought out- every room as an ensuite abd it made a big difference to our family of 8. The local pub (approx 10 steps from the gate) was a fantastic bonus. A really happy and easy holiday for us and we will definitely want to come and stay again in the future. Xxx

Absolutely beautiful!

  • 5 of 5

The house is impressively well equipped, with obvious thought gone into all details. The bedrooms and en-suites were all comfortable, and very clean. Nicely presented, and well stocked kitchen and great areas to relax. The surrounding area has excellent climbing, hiking and 10 circular walks from your doorstep, perfect, an incredible house in such a stunning location. There was even a building to safely store our kayak in!! Snowdonia surf centre is only 10 minutes away too. Many thanks to Annette and Peter for such a warm welcome, and going above and beyond to ensure a wonderful weekend. The Xmas tree Annette provided was very pretty and festive

Fabulous get away from it all weekend

  • 5 of 5

We are 3 older, lively couples who love walking & sightseeing and the house is ideally situated in a small Welsh village about 4 miles outside Conway. This house has it all: ample parking out front, 4 tastefully decorated en suite bedrooms, including one with 4 poster bed and one with bunk bed with double bottom & single on top - I can vouch that the double is very comfortable !!! The kitchen is fully fitted & equipped with everything we could possibly need - even plastic dishes for use outside in the summer when sitting in the huge garden. We spent one of our evenings around the large kitchen table after eating at the Ty Gwyn pub next door. The pub does lovely home cooked food & the service was excellent. In summer their beer garden is a fabulous place to sit & listen to the stream trickle by but make sure you wear insect repellent as it is prone to midgies being so close to the water. Annette & Pete have tried to think of every home comfort and have installed Wi-Fi, BT sport, CD & iPod players, Wii games console with games, music CDs and films on DVD. It is a real home from home - with lots of extras !!! We had a fabulous weekend and can't wait to go back again.

Perfect, planning our next visit

  • 5 of 5

The location of this property is in a quite, picturesque village next door to the local pub which serves good food.

The property is decorated and furnished to a high standard with everything you could possibly need.

Annette & Pete are very accommodating and go 'the extra mile' to make your stay the best it can be.

Our stay (there were 6 of us) was memorable and we will definitely be booking a stay at Y Gorlan again in the near future.

Stunning property in a beautiful location!

  • 5 of 5

Our first impression of the house was that it was immaculate and in beautifully kept grounds! The house had everything we needed and more! With a bathroom in every bedroom, and the beds so comfortable, it was pure luxury! The kids thoroughly enjoyed playing on the piano and have games on the Wii console kept them entertained whilst we had a bit of relaxation. We enjoyed 2 wonderful meals in the pub at the end of the driveway too. The house is perfectly placed for either walks directly in the surrounding area or getting in the car and exploring more of North Wales. All in all, we had an amazing holiday and will definitely be booking to go back soon!
