Week in Wiltshire
Apartment was in a fantastic spot in the centre of Bradford-on-Avon. It is really comfortable and very tastefully decorated. The owners, who live in the apartment upstairs were super helpful and friendly and had even provided fresh milk, bread etc for our arrival. And an unexpected bonus was the fabulous weather for the entire week!

Absolutely amazing place
We had a great stay at The Georgian Lodge apartment. It was absolutely immaculate and beautifully furnished with everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The location couldn’t have been better too. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Thank you!

5 Stars all the way!
Beautiful apartment and great location to town, amenities and local transport. Both Hans and his wife were very accommodating and made their home very comfortable for us with little treats to add that extra special touch. Thank you again.

2/10 Terrible

Rob C.

Lovely apartment with gorgeous view but noisy, rude neighbours and far too much noise from the road.
The apartment itself is lovely, everything you need and very clean. Hans and Jackie were nice and helpful throughout our stay. However the noise from the main road and the neighbours within the courtyard was a constant negative to what was supposed to be a quiet holiday. On several nights we were treated to the sound of one neighbours tv until the early hours and on the others there was the deep joy of listening to other neighbours talking directly under our window. To solve this we moved into the other bedroom but the traffic and the staff from the restaurant next door kept us awake, fortunately the drunks who live in the park opposite the house drowned out most of the bus stop and delivery van noises.

About the host

Hosted by Hans Parker

Host profile image
Jackie is a local nurse, Hans runs his own creperie business.
We are members of Bath Indie cinema club, and love going to the theatre in Bath and Bristol. Hans plays bass in a local band and Jackie has been in the same bookclub for over ten years. We enjoy nothing more than packing a picnic with a good bottle of wine and going for a long hike along the River Avon!

We have lived here for over 20 years with our two sons now aged 18 and 19, and have plenty of local knowledge about Bradford-on-Avon, Bath and the surrounding area.

Why they chose this property

We have lived in different villages in the area for over 20 years, but Bradford on Avon is by far the nicest town in the region - The Sunday Times even voted it the best in the UK!
BoA is often described as a mini version of Bath.

What makes this property unique

The apartment is perfect for watching a busy bustling English village.
