Beautiful loft with lots of light and spacious terraces

In the center of the trendiest area of ​​Valencia, between the cafes and restaurants and within walking distance of the metro station (direct from the airport). The newly renovated apartment is fresh by 2 terraces with large windows that provide air circulation. 1 double bedroom and one bedroom with two single beds. Very nice bathroom in wooden boat and a large open space as a living-kitchen lounge area. Quality materials and a sunny terrace with lounge chairs patio table.

What makes this apartment unique

In the neighbourhood were we have the loft, the atmosphere is always fantastic, even in winter terraces are full of people in Russafa. (which is the hipster part of Valencia). You will find at least 20 or maybe 30 nice restaurants within a distance of 5 min walking from the apartment. The freshmarket (good for a change:)) is 2 minutes walking and if you want to see de christmas market, it is about 10 minutes walking. We love to go to mercado colon (nearby) on sundays, because the Spanish families, all dressed up, come there to drink a coffee.Valencia is a shopping paradise where you can shop until 9 o'clock in the evening and if you love culture you can visit the musea (silk museum , ceramica, bellas artes , artes y sciencias) . You can visit the aquapark on a rainy day but those days are very exceptional. Even in winter you might have breakfast on our cosy terrace.. In spring and summer you can enjoy the beach and the nature park albufeira and enjoy a delicious paella in the fish restaurants. Hope to hear from you :)

getting from the airport of Valencia to the apartment will take you 28 minutes and costs you 4.5 euros (20 min. on the subway directly from the airport to metro stop Xativa in the center and 8 min walking to the front door). Or by taxi, it will cost you 20 or 25 euros and takes you 20 minutes.

Nice appartment in the middle of Valencia

We had a great vacation in Valencia and this apartment was one of the reasons. Nice, clean, spacious, cozy with excellent location. The only problems with this apartment are- Wi-Fi isn't always fast enough and no dedicated parking. Otherwise, We recommend!!!

Owner's Response: We have a vodafone system that can be used for faster wifi but the sim cards were sold out because of the high demand in tourist season.

Lovely but not quite there yet

We had really mixed feelings about our stay in this apartment. On paper it was almost perfect. It's very central, right in the middle of the russafa district, it has a lovely little terrace and catches the breeze nicely when there is breeze. The owner, Polo, was lovely and very communicative. The decor is beautiful, the kitchen has most of what you need, and it's very quiet. There are two very good supermarkets nearby as well as the district market. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants within minutes of the front door. The centre of town is 10 minutes walk away.

Unfortunately, the apartment suffers from being a holiday home and therefore is perhaps underused and things break without being noticed. When we arrived with our infant son, it was 35°c. We had deliberately sought out an apartment with Aircon and WiFi. When we switched on the Aircon, it blew the fuses to the apartment. When we did get it to turn on, it didn't cool the air and acted only as a fan. The owner tried to organise getting it fixed but this wasn't managed before the end of our 5 night stay. In addition, first light switch as you enter the apartment blows the fuses too. The WiFi comes from a restaurant downstairs, is patchy at best and very slow. We didn't managed any kind of consistent connection. These were really the only cons but quite big ones for us, especially given the heat with our little 4 month old.

A couple of other niggles were that some of the catches on the sliding doors and windows didn't lock properly, although I don't know how anyone could break in; and the Nespresso machine doesn't work - but there is another coffee machine.

I wouldn't say this apartment is really suited to small children. We knew this before we travelled, after a short communication with the owner. There's no travel cot or anything and theres no bath, only a shower. There are decorative bits that could come a cropper to any toddler investigations and there are some big gaps on the terrace that mean you couldn't leave a small child unattended outside. This doesn't reflect badly on the apartment and it would be great I think for kids from about 10 yrs and up.

Although we had mixed feelings about the apartment, I think maybe with a better matched family or group it's a lovely way to stay in Valencia.

Owner's Response: De airco was nog maar 2 jaar oud maar plots werkte hij niet meer na het winterseizoen. We hebben enorme inspanningen geleverd om de airco zo snel mogelijk te laten repareren (want het was warm!) maar door een nieuwe wet in Valencia (of gans Spanje? ) zijn gewone elektriciens niet meer bevoegd om airco's te repareren. We moesten normaal dus wekenlang wachten op een van de weinigen met een attest en hebben dan maar meteen nieuwe airco's besteld (leveranciers hebben hun eigen plaatsingsdienst) omdat we niet het warme seizoen zonder airco wilden verhuren. Helaas was dit ook een wachttijd van 7 dagen.

een ruim appartement en een goede ontvangst. Airco in de woonkamer was de eerste twee dagen kapot maar was snel gemaakt/vervangen. Helaas geen uitzicht vanaf het terras.

Excellent location and pleasant communication

The apartment is situated in Rusafa which is what we believe the nicest part of Valancia. there are literally dozens of restaurant and terraces around the corner, it is a very lively neighbourhood. Yet there is no noise disturbance in the apartment. The old city is a pleasant 10 minute walk away and there are 2 Valenbisi bike stations in the near vicinity.

The apartment itself is pleasantly decorated and the kitchen has all the utilities. There are two bedrooms with a total of 4 beds and a good size bathroom. both bedrooms as well as the livingroom have airco.

When we arrived the living room airco did not work, but we were out in the city or at the beach during day time. The airco's in the bedrooms are powerfull enough to cool the entire apartment, so when coming home the temperature was very pleasant. There is a terrace at the back and although the view is not the best ever, it was a good place to close the day, or start there with breakfast.

This was our first time that we booked through homeaway.nl The owner Polo was very helpfull and pleasant to communicate with. She speaks her languages very well. She react swiftly to any questions we asked and even gave us tips for our stay. Her partner in Valencia, Gustavo, speaks English very well and is just as helpfull. We arrived by taxi at the apartment and he was there waiting in front of the door, as promised. He arranged a taxi to pick us up on our way home.

All in all a very pleasant experience. And if we come back (probably will as Valancia is a great place to be), we will book this apartment again.

Agréable séjour

Très joli appartement conforme aux photos et calme.

Très bien placé pour visiter valence. Commerces, restos, bars , supermarchés dans la rue., centre ville à 10 min.à pied .

Pas de nuisance sonore si ce n est peut être la cour d ecole à côté ( récréations ) mais cela ne dure pas.

Appartement bien équipé et propriétaire agréable et communiquant.

Bonne literie.

Soleil sur la terrasse du matin jusqu'à 12h00 max. Nous y étions en mars .

Très bon rapport qualité /Prix.
