One Bedroom Apartment, dog friendly apartment close to amazing beach for dogs.

This beautiful ground floor apartment is situated opposite the wild flower meadows & lakes. It can sleep up to 4 people, there is a double bedroom and a living room with a new double sofa bed and a single chair bed. There is a television, DVD player, DAB radio and CD player in the lounge. On the complex there is an excellent indoor heated swimming pool, a sauna, steam room and gym, whilst outdoor pursuits include fishing, tennis courts, bike hire and a putting green. Communal grounds with picnic areas, BBQs and 2 lakes. The on-site pub allows dogs inside serves food and provides WiFi. There is also a cafe and Italian restaurant where you can purchase take-aways. Food is served until 9pm. A pleasant walk brings you direct access to a lovely, sandy beach,which is dog friendly all year round and stretches for 5 miles.There is a lovely dog friendly cafe at Hunmanby Gap about 15 minutes walk along the beach in the opposite direction to Filey serving home cooked food and cakes. The walk to Filey along the beach takes about 20 -30 minutes. It is a quaint, historic seaside resort which remains unspoilt, with a promenade, gardens and independent shops and tea rooms. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking.

About Julia Mumby

I have always loved the beach and the sea and spent many days out on the east coast when I was growing up. As soon as I saw The Bay I thought it was amazing and I am now lucky enough to own an apartment there.

It is lovely to walk along the beach in any weather with the dogs, family and friends and return for a drink on the terrace of the pub or warm up inside!

Warm, cosy and clean! Fantastic position for walking and miles long sandy beach for our doggies. Really loved it and wold definitely recommend.

Wonderful accommodation. Very clean, welcoming and had all the essentials.

We had a wonderful time at The Bay and 36 The Parade was ideal for our accommodation. We enjoyed a lot of walks to the beach and seeing the frogs in the nature reserve. The children also had fun on the Walterz at the swimming pool on the sight and we had a lovely birthday meal at The John Paul Jones pub for my daughters birthday who turned 6 during our stay. We can’t wait to visit again.

Superb Location

This Apartment is very nicely presented, comfortable, clean and very well equipped with everything you would need. We would highly recommend staying here. The Bay is a great Dog friendly place to stay. Situated within easy reach of the beach, a superb dog walking area & restaurant/pub and close to other local beaches. If we were to revisit the area we would not hesitate to book this accommodation again.

Lovely apartment

We have had a brilliant break in this lovely well equipped apartment. Near to the lake with nice walks and of course The beach. Easy walk to the beach and along the beach to Filey. Pub on site which serves meals the Italian restaurant is open at Easter, there is also a gym with a swimming pool. Would stay here again.

Cosy apartment

Despite horrible weather we thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing stay in this very individual Bay apartment. We appreciated the ease with which we could take our dogs for a walk around the meadows and down onto the beach and the fact that dogs are allowed into the pub/restaurant.

The apartment itself was well equipped and beautifully presented and we would love to visit again when the weather improves. Thank you for your hospitality Julia.
