About Carole Jackson

My husband and have spent 5 years converting this Coach House and as of September 2016 are offering it as a holiday rental. We live next door in a Grade 2 listed Victorian rectory, so will be on hand to sort any problems .

Carole Jackson purchased this cottage in 1996

Why Carole Jackson chose North Kesteven District

This property is ideal for family gatherings and for those wishing to visit the Lincolnshire area. It is proving to be a great central location for families from different parts of the UK to meet up, celebrate a special birthday, & spend a relaxing few days together. The local market town of Sleaford offers basic services but not a lot of nightlife! Therefore we feel it is not a very suitable venue for stag/hen do's, or large groups of single adults.

Sorry no pets.

What makes this cottage unique

As well as being convenient for visiting Lincoln and other attractions like Belton House, Grantham, we are on the Aviation trail for visiting WW2 sites, such as the Bomber command centre at the Petwood at Woodhall Spa. We are also very close to RAF Cranwell which has regular Passing Out parades.

Wonderful spacious property

  • 5 of 5

We have just got back from a fabulous long weekend at The Coach House! There was plenty of space for all 13 of us, and the property is so well equipped - it had everything we needed (well stocked kitchen cupboards and the bathrooms had shampoo, shower gel etc). We used the snug as a play room (some toys/books were provided which was great!) and the children had a wonderful time playing in there, and in the beautiful garden. It was also great to find plastic plates/cups/cutlery etc, which makes it so easy for families. Also, the owner was so accommodating by moving beds etc for the children. We would highly recommend the property - the photos don't do it justice! Perfect for families and larger groups.

Lovely spacious property

  • 4 of 5

The property was lovely and very spacious. And being able to use the garden was a real plus, the children loved it!

We had issues with one of the beds in the house but as soon as the owners knew they went out their way to rectify the issue which we really appreciated.

The bedrooms were really spacious but bear in mind that the upstairs room is open to the dining room below so best not to put the kids in that room if you are entertaining below.

Fantastic house and great value!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful family weekend, five adults and five children. The house was spotless, light and larger than the photos portrayed. The garden was wonderful too, huge with garden furniture, garden games and a tree swing. I would definitely recommend this property.

The photographs really dont do this property justice, its such a beautiful house & plenty of space

  • 5 of 5

The property is stunning, spotlessly clean and well equipped. We came as a group of couples and had a fantastic stay, the location of the property is quite rural, however there are local amenities near by within a couple of minutes, by car, walking isn't ideal as you are on the main A15 Lincoln road. We ventured into Lincoln for the day, which is about a 25 minute drive. The hosts were very warm, welcoming and accommodating they live directly behind, but were certainly not intrusive.
