About this property

We've designed and decked this place out to feel like your very own mountain home.

Maison Deux Cent is in La Grande Terche - the village clustered around the main gondola of the Roc d'Enfer ski area, part of the Portes Du Soleil. It's less than a 90 minute drive from Geneva Airport.

In the winter, ski where the locals ski. In our opinion, it's the hidden gem of the whole ski area as it just doesn't get the queues. This is particularly great for families. For those more adventurous, it means you've got your own little powder stash when the snow falls!

There are 23 pistes, served by 18 lifts with a total of pisted area of 50KM. The area has invested heavily in snow-making, ensuring good coverage when nature falls short, with over 100 snow canons. The ski school is provided by Ecole du Ski Français.

Best of all, the chalet is 300m from the lift and you can ski back to the front door at the end of the day when mother nature allows!

Drop down the mountain and you will find the picturesque village of Saint-Jean d'Aulps.

Drive, or bus, 15 minutes and you'll be at the Ardent Gondola, which is one of the fastest ways to explore the Portes du Soleil. It's a high speed cable car that runs to the base of Les Linderets - the pefect point to venture off into Avoriaz, Chatel or Switzerland.

In the summer, you can explore the forests and valleys round out of the front door. World-class mountain biking is just 15 minutes away in Morzine where 21 lifts give access to over 650km of tracks during the MTB summer season.

Lac du Montriond is 15 minutes away by car and you can swim, paddle board, canoe or just picnic at this beautiful mountain lake.

We like the double hundred at Maison Deux Cent. It gave us our name as that's our house number.

A fantastic family space in mountains with all you need

We have stayed in a number of places in the area and Chalet 200 is the best so far. It is brilliantly equipped and ideal for a group or family that wants to relax, cook, ski or enjoy the mountains. There is plenty of space for everyone even when full. You call tell the owners have thought about the set up and really care.

Sehr tolles Chalet, was fast keine Wünsche übrig lässt

Hallo, wir waren drei Familien (6 Erwachsene und 5 Kinder). Wir haben uns die gemietete Woche sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Das Chalet ist super toll. Der Eingangsraum ist groß genug für die Ski, SkiSchuhe, Jacken und sonstigen Schuhe. Waschmaschine und Trockner, kann man immer gut gebrauchen. Alle drei Bäder toll eingerichtet und modern. Alle Betten sind groß und Bequem. Die Schlafzimmer sind ebenfalls groß genug, einzig im Dachgeschoss muss man bei der Dachschräge auf den Kopf aufpassen :-)). Der Wohn- und Essbereich ist sehr großzügig, die Küche gut ausgestattet. Eine sehr großes Sofa und ruhen und chillen. Lage: Die Hütte ist ca. 200 m von der Seilbahnstation des Skigebiets von St.Jean d´Aulps entfernt. Lässt sich in Skischuhen gut bewältigen. Das Skigebiet an sich ist auch okay, lediglich die Liftanlagen sind nicht mehr die modernsten, jedoch ist auch das Skiticket mit 24 Euro pro Tageskarte auch günstig. Auch die Abwicklung mit den Vermietern war einwandfrei. Schnelle Rückmeldungen auf Fragen und alle sowie es besprochen war. Von daher klare Mietempfehlung.

Very well equipped new chalet in a great location

The chalet is well laid out with plenty of space. A quiet spot, but with really good access. Large supermarket only ten minutes drive away and smaller shops only five minutes. The chalet has two luxury double rooms upstairs and a further double room and a four bunk-beds room on the entry level. There is enough space in the living / dining area for all occupants and the promise of a newly-built patio. Being summer visitors we did not experience the village in the snow,but expect that it will be a great ski venue. Within around an hour, you can get to Evian and Geneva one way and Chamonix the other. There are good walks straight from the front door and Morzine is only ten minutes drive, with its shops and cafes. The ‘station’ does not have a lot of activity going on in the summer, but there are restaurants and cafes with five minutes walk of the chalet. Overall, we would definitely recommend Chalet 200.

Un excellent séjour !

Nous avons vraiment passé un très agréable séjour dans ce magnifique chalet très bien équipé et aménagé de façon moderne tout en conservant le charme d'un chalet en bois traditionnel. Tout était très propre et prêt pour notre arrivée et correspondait à la description de l'annonce. La station est très calme et agréable avec beaucoup d'activité à faire aux alentours. Un grand merci au propriétaire et au gérant qui ont parfaitement répondu à toutes nos questions avant et pendant le séjour. Nous le conseillons vivement et reviendrons avec grand plaisir.
