There is also a family bathroom. The rest of the property contains a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with open fire. To the outside there is ample off road parking, lockable bike storage, a garden with furniture and a tennis court. There is also an external games room with a full-size pool table and table tennis. Courtyard Cottage is a fabulous cottage with something for everyone at any time of the year.

The town offers a good range of shops, pubs and restaurants, whilst the Jim Clark Museum is open to the public in honour of the famous racing driver who lived in the area.
