This homely bungalow nestles amongst rolling countryside five miles south of Duns in the Scottish Borders and can sleep four people in two bedrooms.

Courtyard Cottage is a homely bungalow nestled amongst rolling countryside five miles south of Duns in the Scottish Borders and can sleep four people in one king-size double bedroom and one family room. There is also a family bathroom. The rest of the property contains a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with open fire. To the outside there is ample off road parking, lockable bike storage, a garden with furniture and a tennis court. There is also an external games room with a full-size pool table and table tennis. Courtyard Cottage is a fabulous cottage with something for everyone at any time of the year.

Amenities: Electric night storage heaters with open fire. Electric oven and ceramic hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV with full Sky, DVD, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel, power and starter pack for fire inc. in rent (starter pack only available October to May inclusive). Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair on request. Ample off road parking. Lockable bike storage. Garden furniture provided. Tennis court (shared with owner). One well-behaved dog welcome with a standard supplement of £15. Sorry no smoking. Shop and pub 4 miles. Note: The Cottage is situated in the grounds of the owner's home, but is sufficiently secluded to allow for privacy. Note: Should guests prefer, there is one outside kennel and a run that's able to accommodate 1 dog. Note: The property is accessed up three small steps. Note: Max 4 guests plus one infant. Note: This property is happy to accept short breaks with a 4 night minimum stay. Please note: During the summer months, the property has a charcoal barbecue available.

Town: The small border town of Duns is set in a wide valley known as The Merse and was once the capital of the Scottish Borders, when the current capital, Berwick-upon-Tweed, was under English rule. The town offers a good range of shops, pubs and restaurants, whilst the Jim Clark Museum is open to the public in honour of the famous racing driver who lived in the area.
