Amazing location

A lovely flat close to the main sights in Florence. It was great to be able to come back to a lovely cool flat and rest between visiting the busy attractions. The kitchen was well equiped and shower was good. Our hosts were super lovely and answered our questions quickly.

Everything for a couple for a few days

We spent 5 nights in the apartment and everything was perfect. There is a good stock of everything you would need - pots and pans, glasses, cups and even a washing machine. And just around a corner there is a good supermarket and a view of the Dome! A great location and service.

Fantastic apartment at a superb location!

What a lovely stay at Mirtas apartment, beautfully appointed, lovely space and everything you could need (full kitchen, iron, even hairdryer and straighteners!). The location as well was just superb - a few minutes to the dome and had guide-book recommended restaurants on the doorstep. On top of that a gorgeous welcome basket and bottle of prosecco to welcome us - with something for our little one as well! So lovely, Couldn't fault it.

Fantastic stay

Mirth & Francesco were amazing hosts....everything you could possibly want was in the apartment. Very considerate hosts, and they even checked in after the first day to ask if everything was OK. Everything, from a welcoming fruit basket and wine to candles, detergent etc was provided. We really appreciated this because we were travelling for a long time and stayed at other apartments that didn't even provide the basics like a sponge to do the dishes. The location was perfect! Close enough to EVERYTHING! Only complaint is the sofa bed was a little uncomfortable for my 18 year old daughter. But huge master bedroom and comfortable bed. Better suited for 2 people perhaps or a couple with younger child. Other wise we really enjoyed our 6 days!

The apartment had all we needed for our stay and I would recommend it.

The apartment was perfect for our week's stay. We loved the fact it was so central, yet really quiet. Francesco, Mirta and Barbara (who met us on our arrival) were very helpful right from the initial booking to greeting us when we arrived. Thank you for the wine and fruit (and other goodies) - thoughtful and gratefully accepted. The apartment had everything we needed and its central location meant that everything really was just a short walk away. The air conditioning meant that we were comfortable even though the temperatures were in the 30s. The apartment is towards the rear of the building which means it was relatively cool anyway. If you explore the immediate area around the apartment you will find great little shops, places to eat as well as a supermarket - great for self-catering. The main food market is a short walk away - and has, as you would expect, a great range of fresh produce. We loved our visit and can't fault anything from the booking right through to leaving at the end of the week. Thank you.

Why they chose this property

My husband and I were looking as an investment a flat which was in the heart of Florence, in an ancient building and we fell in love with the beams and joists of this flat which are thypical of the Florentine style. This is also the reason why we tried to give Sant' Egidio a warm touch mantaining a very relaxing atmosphere.
