Large, privately owned self-catering rental apartment in Los Gigantes, one of the most sought after resorts in the Canary Islands. Located on the sunny South West coast of Tenerife, in a quiet block with only 5 other apartments, it is just a 4min walk to the centre of the village.

This large property (120sq.m) is spread over two floors. THE LOWER FLOOR (62sq.m) is the living area. The DINING ROOM and LOUNGE is a large, light and airy open plan space which has been sectioned by furniture to create two distinct areas. The large DOWNSTAIRS FRONT TERRACE is secluded and perfect for sunbathing. The views of the sea and cliffs are amazing making this the perfect place to eat 'Al fresco' or have a quiet drink while watching the spectacular sunsets. There is a cloakroom with a wash hand basin and toilet on this floor The fully fitted KITCHEN is very well equipped. The UPPER FLOOR (58sq.m) has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, front and back terraces (see bedroom/bathroom section.

Beautiful Apartment with stunning views

This was our second stay in Casa Gracia. We stayed two years ago and we were so impressed we always said we would go back. We stayed for ten days and it was the most relaxing enjoyable holiday we have had in a long time. There was a welcome pack for us when we arrived just like the first time we stayed. It had all the essentials like bread, milk, eggs, orange juice, water, toilet rolls and even a bottle of wine. It was late when we arrived so it was very much appreciated. You have everything you could possibly need in the apartment, books, dvds, board games etc There was also toiletries and the little things like a spare toothbrush, that you just wouldnt get in another apartment or hotel. It was like a home away from home. The views from both terraces are stunning. A favourite restaurant of ours is the Tipsy Terrace just a few minutes walk from the apartment. We had breakfast there most days and lunch and dinner. Food is amazing and prices are reasonable. We also had the use of the pool there. A favourite boat trip and one I would highly recommend is Flipper Uno. It is a fun way to spend a few hours, we had lunch and drinks on the boat and got to see some whales and dolphins. We also got to swing out of the boat on a rope into the sea. We also drove down to Siam water park which is the number one in Europe and really enjoyed the day there, a fast pass is well worth it to avoid the ques. We drove up to the Volcano also and the views were stunning. There is a Lidl nearby where we got all our shopping and it had everything you need. It was a pleasure to deal with the owner of this property, Colin, he was always so helpful and such a gentleman. The property was spotless and well maintained. I would highly recommend Casa Gracia

Lovely apartment, well equipped, views to die for

Our second stay at Casa Gracia and it didn't disappoint. The owners have thought of everything, the flat is very well equipped with bedding, kitchen equipment, books, games, wi-fi, DVDs and clear instructions on how to use everything.

If you don't like physical exertion you probably won't enjoy the 47 steps up from the pavement and the 150 or so steps from the village. For us it was a bonus to have our thighs slightly more toned after a day relaxing at Tipsy Terrace pool (pool access included in your stay), so we welcomed the exercise!

The views are an absolute delight when you return from a day exploring, they never tire. Los Gigantes itself is a lovely quiet resort, away from the noise of Playa/Cost Adeje, but close enough to visit the attractions. The only noise was from the bats - they made a very weird kazoo type noise at around 10pm which kept us very bemused!

Relaxing get away

Apartment was very well equipped with everything you need for an enjoyable stay, lots of good restaurants and bars nearby, we hired a car, but you could use local taxis/buses to get around, the apartment was a bit of a walk up the hill and then steps up to apartment, so bear this in mind, but the views were great from terraces

Amazing

Absolutely loved staying here, I wish I was back there now.

The 2 good size balconies have a beautiful view over the bay. The apartment is excellently sized and well fitted, with 2 twin rooms (that can be joined to make doubles), 2 showers rooms with toilets and a bathroom.

Within a short walk there are a few nice restaurants and bars, but this side of town is on the quieter side. A short drive or taxi or 30 minute walk will take you to Puerto Santiago which looked a bit more lively though we never actually went at night.

We stayed in June and it was really excellent value for money.

Lovely apartment spectacular view

We have been coming to casa gracia for so many years now it really feels like home from home, the apartment really has most everything you need i was sorry the payphone has been taken out as i used that a lot.The steps up to the apartment seem a bit daunting but when you get up there the view is so beautiful its worth it.A visit to the santiago sporting club is a must the food is very good especially the breakfast , and the staff are lovely can`t wait for next year !!

A view to die for

When you stay at this apartment don't expect 5star luxury but do expect comfort and every thing you might need right down to shopping bags. The welcome pack was a god send as we arrived about 10pm in very heavy rain and every where had closed there was water tea/coffee milk bread jam and eggs breakfast was lovely on the balcony in the sunshine. Los Gigantes is a great place for a relaxing holiday and all the restaurants we went to served really nice food. The Tipsy Terrace is wonderful during the day sometimes we had the pool to ourselves had a couple of nice lunches there too and evening meal there is a pass to use the Tipsy in the apartment and it is only a 5 minute walk down hill. Now you don't get a view like this by not been high up but it is a easy walk down and a 4 euro taxi ride back up. The lighting in on the steps to the apartment was hit and miss so if you don't have a mobile phone take a little touch also if there is more then two of you staying in the apartment someone is going to have to have the back bedroom which doesn't have a view or much natural light that said we had a great holiday and differently return. Los Gigantes is a small, quiet, popular village located on the sunny South West coast of Tenerife which enjoys the best weather on the island giving year round sunshine. There are numerous restaurants and bars of all types from basic to gourmet. In and around the village you will find two chemists, plenty of shops, supermarkets and banks. There is a small sheltered beach beside the harbour and three public swimming pools in the village all within 5 minutes walk of the apartment. All guests staying have prepaid membership to The Holiday Leisure Centre which has the only public heated swimming pool in Los Gigantes. It is surrounded by grassy sunbathing areas with sun beds as well as a children’s pool, three tennis courts, crazy golf, bar and an excellent restaurant. A little way along the coast (20 minute stroll or 2 minute drive) is the larger ‘Blue Flag’ beach of Playa Arena which is surrounded by swaying palm trees as well as shops, bars and restaurants.

Other Activities: bowls, snorkelling, jet skiing, kite-boarding.

The BACK BEDROOM is very large and contains two single beds, bedside table, a large wardrobe, ceiling fan and a double sofa bed . Patio doors lead out to the back terrace where there are table and two chairs.

Notes:

  • There is a table and 4 chairs on the downstairs terrace as well as 4 sun beds. No smoking inside the apartment - smoking is allowed on the terraces. The apartment is accessed by a number of steps, as such, it is not suitable for those with mobility difficulties. Los Gigantes is located on a hill. The stroll from the apartment down to the centre of the village takes just a few minutes but will probably take a bit longer to walk back.
