3 bedroom apartment on Halki waterfront, a balcony to the Aegean Sea.

Villa Praxithea -Upper floor apartment- is not unique only for its supreme location on the waterfront of Halki island, but also for the quality of the construction, its traditional character and its size, as it is 107 sq. meters.

Villa Praxithea, is a two storey villa, located at the right side of the sea-front in Chalki village. It is a “neoclassical style” noble house older than a hundred years, which was restored in the year 2000. It is equipped with electric facilities such as hair dryer, free Wi-Fi internet connection and satellite TV for a pleasant and relaxing vacation.

It is so close to the water, that you can hear the splattering of the waves. A morning swimming in front of the villa, instead of a morning shower, makes your day! The villa is surrounded by traditional “island-style” houses, scattered around the picturesque harbour of the island which is called Nimboriò. The clarity of the water in front of the villa is astounding, a place that the snorkelers will adore.

The Upper Floor Apartment is beautifully restored with wooden floors and high ceilings, elegantly and traditionally furnished. Even when you are indoors you can watch the great blue of the Aegean sea and the sky through the doors and the numerous windows. You can enjoy your evening drinks on the balcony following the big ferry boat mooring, or writing a letter to your friends and family.

Upper Floor Apartment consists of: three bedrooms ( one with double bed,one with a single bed and one with two single beds ), a spacious living room with a built-in kitchen and a bathroom.

At the outer yard of Villa Praxithea, the guests of Upper Floor Apartment share the space under the tree with the residents of Villa Aristea.

All furniture and appliances are brand new and modern. The villa is built by thick stone walls 50cm wide and has so many windows which make it cool during summer time. Nevertheless, we provide electric funs. Cleaning services are provided once a week while sheets and towels are changed twice a week. The apartment has fully equipped kitchen where you are welcome to try your hand at – why not Greek? – home cooking !

I was born in Kalymnos island at 1971. My studies in Architecture helped me a lot with the restoration of the villa, especially the Master in Conservation of Historic Buildings and Towns at KUL Belgium. I am married with two kids, Nikolas and Sevastianna and I live permanently in Rhodes island.
