About the property

A beautiful 19th century finca in an idyllic setting, with spectacular views of the Serra de Tramuntana.

Sa Cova's entrance and cosy library provide soft linen sofas and comfortable chairs for lounging and the eat-in kitchen is well-equipped to create holiday feasts. All three bedrooms have king size beds, dressed in crisp Egyptian cotton. The main bedroom is en-suite, the other two bedrooms share a bathroom. The casita provides a fourth bedroom with en-suite bathroom.

The outdoor dining area, next to the pool, is a great place to relax and admire the dry-stone terraces, olive groves and Tramuntana mountains (a UNESCO World Heritage Site). Stone steps lead to a terraced orchard where oranges, lemons, figs, dates, avocados, walnuts and pomegranates can be picked seasonally.

Sa Cova is situated at the top end of Fornalutx, close to a number of well-known Mallorcan restaurants. The first two, Ca N'Antuna and Es Turo, are just a few steps from our front gate. It's a 5 minute walk down the road to a beautiful boutique and the picturesque village square, with its great bakery, small grocery store, ATM, chemist, hairdresser and a few more bars and restaurants. The bustling Saturday morning market in Sóller and the beach in Port de Sóller are 10 minutes away, whilst charming Palma is only half an hour away.

Fornalutx’s enviable location in the Serra de Tramuntana makes it ideal for hikers and cyclists.

Stunning property in an equally stunning location!

Our stay at Sa Cova completely exceeded our expectations on every level. From the moment we stepped down the path when we arrived to see the beautiful pool shimmering in the afternoon sunshine we felt at home. The outside dining area had the most stunning view of the Tramutana mountains and the house itself is elegant, stylish and equipped with everything you could need for a luxurious relaxing holiday in a truly spectacular location. The village of Fornalutx itself out of all the places we visited is by far the most beautiful even than Deia. Food wise special mention must go to Ca N' Antuna a few steps from our property for delicious good value food and Cafe Med for a really memorable birthday dinner worth every penny. We didn't want to leave - we will be back!

We can highly recommend Sa Cova .

Very nice location with a stunning view to the Tramutana mountains.

The interior design is very authentic and very well selected. The kitchen is perfectly equipped even if you have optional a Weber grill on the terrace . Overall the house exceeded all of your expectations and it's a place where you definitely want to come back .
