About Tiffany Robinson

We are a family with 2 children aged 12 & 13 who are growing up (as I did!) loving this area and all that it has to offer! My husband and I both work from home locally so are on hand if there are any last minute problems or if you need a suggestion for a great local restaurant!

Tiffany Robinson purchased this cottage in 2015

Why Tiffany Robinson chose Milford on Sea

I have been lucky enough to have lived in this area for most of my life and can not think of anywhere that can offer so much to so many, at anytime of year. It has everything; the remoteness of the New Forest to the hustle of town. There are beaches and cities within easy reach, there are theme parks and cycle tracks, Museums and Theatres, sailing and walking, horses riding and rowing, cycling for miles with no real hills to speak of! Within 5 miles you have access, by ferry, to the Isle of Wight, or by train to London. Milford On Sea itself is a beloved, pretty village with plenty of fabulous place to eat; traditional pubs, bistros, cafes, fine dining & international cuisine - all a level walk away from Berry Cottage! The village has great pebble beaches, spectacular sea views with glorious sunsets, quaint shops and mini supermarkets, clifftop strolls, country rambles, bird watching, nature reserves, the magical New Forest close by, sailing, fishing, wind surfing, tea shops and so much more!

What makes this cottage unique

Berry cottage has an interesting past with parts dating back to the 1700's and, until recently, was in the same family for 140 years; we fell in love with it instantly as it emanates the kind of warmth only associated with a much cherished family home.

We have renovated the cottage allowing us to include all the extras that make a stay as flexible as possible with 3 en-suite bathrooms and a separate wc. There is a brilliant outdoor BBQ area, which is partially covered for those chilly evenings with steps up to a beautiful, established garden with lawn. Well-behaved dogs are also welcome.

A lovely property with lots of character and a fantastic location !

  • 5 of 5

5 friends and I have just had a long weekend at Berry Cottage, Milford on Sea, and it was perfect for us, a great location and great property. The cottage was really roomy and comfy and all the rooms where well equipped. There were a couple of minor things that would just make the cottage perfect. A long mirror in the bedrooms, or at least one of the bedrooms, would be helpful and a towel rail/rack in the twin loft room. Also perhaps a few more mugs/cups. However, they are just minor things and did not make our visit any the less perfect. We loved your house and would recommend it to all our family and friends. Also thanks for getting back to us so quickly on our question about the heating. A really good and personal service. The location is so good and in walking distance of everywhere you want to go in Milford-on-Sea. We had 3 cars and it was so great that we were able to park them in the White Horse Pub Car Park. We had a nice pub lunch there and the staff were very polite and helpful, thank you.

The only moan we all had was that we only had 3 nights stay, we all wanted to stay longer ! Oh well, perhaps next time !

Thanks again, from all of us, Natalie, Glenys, Jacquie, Kim, Caroline & Sue

Owner's Response: Thank you Natalie for such a positive and helpful review we really appreciate the feedback. I will get on the case straight away regarding the mirrors-that would annoy me too! I will also get some more mugs and have a look into the towel rack. I am so glad you had such a lovely time and would love to welcome you back (perhaps for longer!) in the future. Best Wishes, Tiff and Steve

Stunning cottage!

  • 5 of 5

We actually returned for a second visit within 6 weeks.... we loved it that much.

The cottage is perfect for families or groups of friends . The property has been beautifully refurbished ... a perfect mix of old and new with every room having its own character!

The kitchen was our favourite..... an amazing space to entertain or chill round the kitchen island.

The village is a mix of individual stores and eateries as well as your essentials. Ten minutes by foot to the beach and ten minutes by car into the forest.

We can not recommend this more highly.

Beautifully appointed cottage in a location that offers coast and countryside, practically perfect

  • 4 of 5

To celebrate three birthdays I booked Berry Cottage. Our criteria were three en suite double bedrooms, a good entertaining space and dog friendly. Whilst many properties offer two out of the three criteria most could not offer three en suites. At first I was a little concerned that the house would be too small but my worries vanished the moment we stepped into Berry Cottage. The cottage is beautifully appointed with a fresh and bright decor and wonderful furnishings. The living kitchen/ diner is a fabulous entertaining space with modern fittings and a large refectory table easily seating six adults. The three skylights give lots of light. The large american fridge freezer was a bonus, given that we had bought most of our own food. We all agreed that more serving dishes, more mugs and a kettle that held enough water for six cups rather than four would be great. Welcome pack was very nice touch. The house is really comfy and clean, all but the oven, which was quite greasy, as were the oven trays, and the fridge which needed a wipe down. Underfloor heating and tiled floors throughout the ground floor were really practical for our booted November feet. The garden is dog friendly and completely contained.

The delightful bedrooms are all a good -size with plenty of storage space and comfy duvets. The en suite bathrooms are large and tastefully decorated. One suggestion was a grab rail for the baths as the edges are wide and baths are deep making it difficult to get in and out.

The log burner made the sitting room very cosy. Better instructions for working the TV would have been helpful and also the Netflix password. WiFi worked well. .

The cottage location, just off the main high street, gives access to all of the local amenities but without the through traffic. We were able to park for the duration in the White Horse pub opposite. A really well-stocked small supermarket is just a minute walk away from the house which sells fresh bread and delicious danish pastries. A 10 minutes walk brings you to the sea with its views of the Isle of Wight and the Needles, and we'd recommend the stunning walk to Lymington via the coastal route and salt marshes.

A wonderful weekend and we will definitely be returning. 'Hats off' to Tiffany for a creating a really special place to stay.

Lovely cottage

  • 5 of 5

Had a lovely stay at Berry Cottage. Great location in the village of Milford on Sea which has plenty of eateries and a nice wine bar. Just a short walk to the seafront, coastal paths in both directions. The cottage itself is nicely decorated, clean and the beds very comfortable. All three bedrooms ensuite. No private parking and cannot park directly outside of property but always found space further down the road. Owners very pleasant to deal with and prompt to respond to emails.

Stylish and comfortable

  • 4 of 5

Milford on Sea is a lovely village on the south coast, with excellent coastal walks and great access to the New Forest just a few minutes drive way. The house is on a main road and is attractively and stylishly furnished with a large kitchen/diner and front room. All the bedrooms were of a good size and had attractive modern bathrooms. It was comfortable and attractive and felt like a home from home so very relaxing. It's just a few minutes to some great local shops, high quality coffee shops and restaurants and even a Paddleboarding company on the high street. We had some lovely walks at Keyhaven estuary, as well as paddleboarding, horse-riding and cycling. Great fun and a good place to stay. Thank you.

Highly recommended- fantastic place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay - the cottage is really lovely, it's in a fantastic little village that's a short walk to the sea and the rest of the New Forest is very accessible. Our hosts really made the stay by arranging babysitting so we could go out to a few of the wonderful restaurants that are nearby. We were really comfortable in the cottage as it's been beautifully decorated, is spacious and well kitted out - there's a really nice garden area too. We'd definitely recommend it and would like to go back ourselves sometime too.
