Seawards is a contemporary, pet friendly, well equipped 1st floor apartment in the pretty village of Mortehoe in North Devon. The local shops, pubs, cafe's and eateries are a 10 minute walk away and the North Devon Coastal Path is just across the road.

Woolacombe beach is a 25 minute walk or a 5 minute drive away and offers a world class beach (rated no.1 on Trip Advisor) with excellent surfing.

Located in the charming village of Mortehoe, Seawards is a light, airy contemporary apartment offering a balance of luxurious accommodation along side wonderful access to the great outdoors.

Seawards is a first floor apartment within Blue Stone Point, a small development of only 10 apartments located on the edge of Mortehoe village. The living accommodation is open plan with an exceptionally well equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, spacious dining area and bright comfortable lounge which is fronted by large windows with doors leading out onto a balcony which offers sea views out across the headland - a perfect spot to sit back, relax and watch the glorious sunsets that North Devon enjoys. The balcony extends along in front of the main bedroom which enjoys the same views. This bedroom is light and airy with a king size bed, built in wardrobe and ensuite wet room. The second bedroom is spacious and bright, furnished with twin beds. A family bathroom with over bath shower completes the accommodation.

Morthoe village can be traced back to the Doomsday book and beyond; more recent history is filled with stories of smugglers and wreckers making this an interesting place to explore! The local museum offers plenty of opportunity to find out more about this historic village. It is now a quiet and peaceful village with good facilities including local shop, post office and newsagent, two pubs serving food and local beers, excellent fish and chip shop and a tea room. Mortehoe has excellent access onto the southwest coast path and the surrounding countryside, alongside beautiful beaches making it an ideal location for walkers and those wanting to explore the beautiful surroundings, as well as those wishing to hear the sound of the sea and feel the sand between their toes. Award winning family and dog friendly Woolacombe beach is a 25 min walk or 5 min drive away, providing the perfect spot for surfing, body boarding, rock pooling and of course sun bathing. Access to Croyde and Saunton Sands beaches is via either a short drive or a more challenging walk, while Rockham Bay is a 15 min walk away along the well maintained coast path.

The owners are a local couple (Jeremy & Zarina) who will meet you at the apartment to hand over the key and explain how everything works. Having lived, worked and holidayed in the area for over 10 years they have a wealth of knowledge about walking, surfing, eating and drinking. Nothing is too much trouble and they love pets to visit and have many great dog walking routes to share.

North Devon has one of the most dramatic coastlines in the UK with fantastic beaches and coastal paths. We first came here 10 years ago to learn to surf and ended up moving here 5 years later. Seawards at Mortehoe is our first venture into the holiday letting market, we have always loved Mortehoe village and we're very excited to find this property at Bluestone Point. The apartment has a light and airy feel and that all important sea view from the balcony.

Great looking apartment with everything you could need - a home away from home!

We had a wonderful short Winter break here, although gale force winds outside it was cosy inside! Fantastic large size living space with everything you could need including brilliant welcome hamper. We had a very relaxed time!

Five Star Luxury

We booked the apartment to have a festive get away. From the initial booking to meeting us on arrival, Jeremy was the perfect host. It was lovely to find a hamper of goodies not only for us but our four legged friend too!!

The apartment has everything and then some! The bed was extremely comfortable and the apartment was very quiet. Perfect night sleep every night. So much thought has gone into this apartment - from the Nespresso coffee machine, to all the drinking glasses(!) and pots & pans. It didn't feel like a holiday rental at all. We would certainly love to visit again.

We walked to Woolacombe for lunch in Bar Electric - staff very friendly and it is dog friendly too!! On the suggestion of Jeremy we had drinks in the Chichester Arms en route back from Woolacombe as there is a steep hill to climb back to Mortehoe. We also visited Ilfracombe which is close by.

Beautiful apartment, top spec and so comfortable.

The apartment is gorgeous and with a beautiful view of the sea. It was an absolute pleasure to stay in Morthoe for the first time. We have always stayed in either Georgeham or Braunton but visited Mortehoe for the breath taking coastal walks. We walked from Woolacombe to Putsborough along the beach for the first time also! It was a pleasure to return to the comfort of the apartment in the evening. The kitchen is perfect, the beds comfortable and the whole place spotlessly clean. Hard to leave when it was time to come home but softened the blow with breakfast at The Riverside in Braunton, a favourite of ours.

Absolutely brilliant!

Thank you for a wonderful short stay. The apartment was seriously luxurious. More like staying in a five star hotel. Met on arrival and received a very generous welcome pack. Towels and linen provided. Boys loved Netflix and surfing. Brilliant coast for walking. Best standard holiday home we have ever stayed in!
