About the property

Spacious Oldtown apart near beach, 3 bed, pool and sea at 50m

You can enjoy your holiday in the spacy old town appartment (Ensuite + 2 bedrooms with access on the balcony), just a minute form La Creueta,

the sea and 3 minutes from restaurants, bars, shops and the old town beach, all that area has changed into a pedestrian zone now.

You find the appartment in the 2nd floor of a 3 floor building.

It is a spacious new renovated flat in the old town. All bed rooms exit onto the back - West side balcony. The kitchen opens into the big living area with eating table and living room. The windows can be opened completely onto the balcony.

The big ensuite-bedroom has a 150cm double bed, the second room a 140*200cm double bed, the third room has 2 singles of 90cm.


Only 5-7 minutes to The Empuries beaches with the Ruins and Sant Marti - reachable over the beautiful beach walk, with the Cho Cho train or by car.

There is a Pool with panoramic views, at 50m (towards the sea passind underneath the arch)

Supermarkets, shops:

You only have to go down the street to the old town to find a bakery, cafés, bars, restaurants or little shops.

If you walk along the “Ronda” towards the Empueries beaches you will reach bigger supermarkets like Lidl, Mercadona or dia.

At the other entrance of the town you have Carrefour and Aldi.

Around us:

Have a walk to the roman-greek Ruins or the little village Sant Marti dEmpuries, passing by the Hostal Empuries – it’s worth a look inside! Its terrace or the “Chiringuitos” invite to take a aperitif on the way to the village or just during your stay on the beaches. The magnificent Empuries beaches are very child friendly as very shallow, although in the first one you will find quite a few rocks underneath the water.

Southwards you can walk along the sea as well – over the new part of Riells (second hand market every Sunday!) to the port. Also in the port you find many restaurants. If you want to walk even further, you will reach the beautiful bay of Montgo. Amazing sand, clear shallow waters, hiking tracks and restaurants.

As well as Montgo as Sant Marti you can reach with the choo-choo-train in the summer. Best stop is downtown at the beginning of the Pedestrian Zone (for Montgo) or even directly up the stairs from Punta Romana (or around the corner), on the Ronda de Pedro for direction Sant Marti.

Profit from many sportive options as diving, sailing, deep sea fishing, kayaking, paddle surfing, kite-surfing (Sant Pere Pescador) etc.).

Annotaions for parking: You can park in the street c/Gracia, in the street along the sea front passing through the Punta Romana Arch, (Ronda Mar d'en Manassa), or driving the round back and try on the top road above (Ronda de Pedro). It depends where you find a spot...you usually have to pay, there are only a few free ones, i think at the beach it is still free - I provide a parking card for residents with which you pay 1€/day until 8am of the following day, in parking spots marked with BONIFICAT o BONIFICADO. You charge the money card and then pay with that card choosing the tarif for residents. Then you put the ticket together with the paper in the car window.

Fabulous place in beautiful L'Escala

We absolutely loved our stay! This is a beautiful, modern flat just a block from the ocean. You can walk down the street to enjoy the local seaside restaurants or walk a few blocks the other way to enjoy some great beaches. The flat isn't ocean view itself, but we didn't mind. It has two large balconies, three bedrooms, plenty of storage spaces, a kitchen, and washing machine. It was perfect for our family of five. I highly recommend it!
