Right at the center of the Albayzin, near San Nicolas lookout (3 minutes away) the most iconic viewpoint in Granada, and bordering the Sacromonte district, home of Granada’s thriving Gypsy community and best place for Flamenco Zambras (flamenco shows). Recently remodeled during last year, it has been finished to the highest standard of design and quality to keep its rustic Albayzin style while giving it a modern update using original paintings, exotic sculptures, and contemporary furniture.

Located in a traditional “Corrala” building with a picturesque central patio, the 70m2 (750ft2) apartment features all exterior rooms with a light color palate and natural stone and wood flooring which create a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere.

The south-facing living room features two large windows and a balcony that opens onto the main street with panoramic views of the Alhambra and the Generalife. There is a white leather, corner sofa bed, a coffee table, a 42 inch flat-screen LCD television and a modern dining set suitable for up to 6 guests.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary utensils, tableware, and high-quality built-in appliances including; washing machine, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, microwave, Nespresso machine, etc.

The main bedroom features a window overlooking the inside patio, queen-sized bed (150x190cm) and a fitted wardrobe.

The second bedroom, facing south, features a balcony that overlooks the main street with views of the the Alhambra forest and the Generalife, queen-sized bed (150x190cm) and an open wardrobe.

Guests have their choice of synthetic-fill or ergonomic memory-foam pillows.

The bathroom faces the inside patio and is finished with natural stone, featuring a thermostatic rain shower column, chromo therapy lighting, high quality towels and a hair dryer.

All rooms have air conditioning and heating units as well as Wi-Fi internet access.

Perfection. Perfect apartment in a perfect location with perfect service.

We could not have been happier with the Art Chapiz apartment. It is located on an easily accessible and convenient location of the Albayzin (by foot, not car...nothing in the Albayzin is convenient in a car). There are views of the Alhambra from the living area and the decor is beautiful. You can walk down Cuesta del Chapiz and be in Plaza Nueva for tapas in no time, or you can walk up the hills to the Mirador de San Nicolas for amazing views of the city and the Alhambra, or for any of the Albayzin's numerous restaurants. Jamie was very responsive, helpful and knowledgeable about Granada (Lemon Rock Bar was a great recommendation!). We highly recommend staying at Art Chapiz Apartment when you are in the area.

Lovely apartment in excellent location.

Only a short walk to the Alhambra and in a convenient location in Albaycin. We enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment is well equipped and modern. The parking is very close and a welcome feature.

Would definitely rent it again and highly recommend it.

Great property, great location, great host

Jamie was very helpful. She met us at the apartment to check us in and answer any of our questions. She provided a bunch of recommendations for restaurants and attractions. The property was great too and had everything we needed. The location is partway up the hill, but still close enough to walk to Plaza Nueva and all the restaurants. We enjoyed our stay in the apartment and Granada.

Dream Accommodations in a Lovely City

This apartment is absolutely gorgeous in a completely wonderful location in a charming city, but what makes this apartment a dream is the service. Jamie, who helps Roberto in managing this property, is incredible. She recommended restaurants, helped us when we got lost, brought local wines for us to purchase to the flat, and was available as a reference our whole trip. I felt entirely taken care of from the first email communication.

Now for the apartment: the view of the Alhambra out of the living room window is delightful, the apartment is very clean and comfortable with so much natural light. All of the furniture and bedding was very nice, and the walls are decorated with Roberto's artwork which was a fantastic touch. The kitchens well stocked. There is not an oven. We did not find this to be a problem between the microwave, toaster, and hob, plus you are in Granada! Go eat Tapas! There were plenty of places near the apartment to eat and shop, or you could go down the hill for even more options. The noise on the street is a bit loud on the weekend, but we did not find it bad any other nights we were staying. This is more a Granada thing than an apartment problem. The apartment was a dream!

If you choose to use their parking spot, use the directions that they send ahead of time. Turn the GPS on your phone off when you reach the first part of their directions and do it the old fashion way. Do not let other drivers on the small streets intimidate you. If you follow the directions, you will have not problem. The parking spot is near by and secure.

If we return to Granada, we will absolutely be returning to Art Chapiz. It fit our family of four adults comfortably. It was the perfect point to explore from, but even more delightful as a place of rest after a long day! Do yourself a favor, come to Granada, and stay here. And talk to Jamie. She was the best.

Perfect place for 3 or 4 guests

We couldn't have been happier with our stay. Communication with Jamie was fantastic in advance of our stay. She realized we had picked an arrival date with some road restrictions and worked out a plan B which prevented what would have been a nightmare without her intervention. The apartment itself is very clean and modern. The front bedroom is on the street but the window is quite soundproofing. Combine that with a private A/C/heating unit for the room with its associated low fan hum and outside noise was not an issue during our stay. Alhambra is just a 15 minute walk away and the old town is at your doorstep.
