About this property

The Villa des Groseillers with private Spa and rustic golf course of 5 holes

In the Crequoise valley in the nice village of Loison-sur-Crequoise, Cathy and Hubert Delobel had love at first sight for a 1953 villa located in the middle of a undulated valley with sheeps and apple trees. Fully renovated in 2011, with large and very bright living rooms, the villa has a large fireplace with firepit in a very cosy lounge. A 40 sq.m terrace exposed to the south with a private outdoor Spa (4-5 persons) and a 37.5ºC temperature all year long. A rustic golf course of 5 holes with a superb view of the valley is proposed (2 hours per day). Original activities are available on site: oenology, puppet making, milking goats, painting lessons, introduction to chti mi. The villa is located by the Maison du Perle which makes the regional aperitif called Perle de Groseille, etc.

Would not recommend, worst accommodation ever.
It took us nearly a day to clean the house to a habitable standard, the cleansing equipment consisted of a brush that did not fit the handle and a mop handle with no head??? The fridge freezer was also dirty and it was plainly obvious that the place had not been cleansed before our arrival. The golf course was a chewed up field full of sheep on a steep hill. I would advise anyone thinking of booking to strongly consider elsewhere. This is the 6th time we have stayed in France and this is the only time we have been disappointed with the accommodation and 100% we will NOT be returning.

Amazing stay!
We have just returned from a brilliant stay at the Villa. Having stayed in many large rental properties this is by far the best we have come across! Fully stocked with all the kitchen utensils you could need including enough glasses and crockery for 10 people. The facilities are brilliant, the spa and the rustic golf were very entertaining. Also the boules court in the front garden was lovely for an evening activity. Hubert in particular couldn't have been more welcoming, helping us to hire bikes, show us around the property and daily coming round to visit and maintain the hot tub. Their currant sparkling wine 'Perle des Grosselliers' was delicious and the factory is ideally located next door where the team are more than happy to show you around and let you taste. As a mixed group of young adults, this really was the perfect place! Great location to get out and explore on our bikes and we had a great day on the beautiful Le Touqet beach which can be accessed by car in 40 mins. Many thanks to Catherine and Hubert for a lovely stay. We'll be back!

Wonderful, relaxing stay - what a tonic!
We came with friends to unwind after Christmas and we wanted to find somewhere special to see in the New Year. We were not disappointed with this beautiful location - wonderfully appointed throughout, even including a delicious bottle in the fridge upon arrival. The owner was extremely helpful and the house was tastefully decorated and furnished to a good standard. We could get to Le Touquet in less than half an hour and really enjoyed visiting the nearby town of Montreuil. And all of this less than an hour from Calais. It was a just a five minute drive to the nearest bakery and good sized Carrefour and the butcher in the village was just a five minute stroll away and is also to be highly recommended. We will certainly be returning again - the children can not wait to return to the hot tub and golf course.
