Wonderful escape for our family summer break!
We (family with child, 12) have very much enjoyed Villa Leticia and the host family who was always available for support and suggestions, local knowledge and advise!
The availability of this great pool, be it early in the morning, during the day or late evenings before going to bed was brilliant. We have constantly used and enjoyed it throughout our vacation with great pleasure.
One very positive surprise was the airconditioned bed room we had not expected but it was great to have it as temperatures can be still high at night and then a cool bed room is assuring a good night's sleep.
We had rented a car which we felt has made this place very easily accessible. It is comfortably quiet there but close to lots of activities. With the car one is very well placed to experience the whole Southern and Eastern coast of the Island from Ragusa and Noto all the way to Taormina, just as easy as an excursion to Aetna or Cava Grande .
There are plenty of beaches from small and to large within 20-40 mins drive but you are also very close to the Water Fun Park which is great, too!
Syracuse with Ortigia is close by with its historical settings full of cafes, restaurants and lots of small shops of high quality which are a pleasure to discover.
A large shopping Centre is less than 5 minutes drive away.
Accessibility from the airport in Catania with the car was about an hour.
Overall a great place to be!
