This spacious apartment offers a fully equipped kitchen with oven, hob, washing machine, fridge freezer and microwave as well as a balcony overlooking swimming pool with pool bar and restaurant.
The apartment benefits from one double bed and a double sofa bed in the lounge, so can easily sleep up to 4.

There is a lift which is easily accessible by wheelchair.

Situated in a quiet location with Ponta Preta or Kite beach only a 10-minute walk.

There is a free shuttle bus service to the holiday town of Santa Maria or you can take a short taxi ride for 3/4 euros or enjoy a 20-minute walk.

Exactly What We Were Looking For!

We had originally booked at another accommodation, but at the last minute we changed our mind and booked this apartment with Jason. So glad we did! This beautiful apartment did not disappoint and every aspect has been thought out well. Everything you need from an apartment is there as well plenty of travel adapters, books, dvds and there's even an xbox! Gorgeous view from the balcony and super friendly staff at the resort. This place is situated in an ideal location where you're not in the thick of all the town centre noise and can have tranquillity. But it's only a 15 minute walk to Santa Maria town centre if you want it. There are daily free shuttle buses going there or a 3 euro taxi ride. There are no shortages of taxis on the island. I'd definitely stay here again if we returned to Cape Verde!

Home From Home

Vila Verde is a little out of town but do not let that put you off. There are ample options to getting into town from the free shuttle bus, taxi €3 or walking 15 mins. The apartment is well maintained with all you would expect. During our stay we had a couple of minor issues which were resolved immediately by Lizy the manager. Jason the owner communicated with us prior to the visit and all questions were promptly answered. Vila Verde itself is very quiet but has a small supermarket, bakery, pub and restaurants. We ate out in Santa Maria most nights and found the place to be charming. The locals are friendly and love to chat, they are very proud of their island and it’s moto “no stress”. One important point Sal is not U.K. it is a remote island so be aware many things are not available on the island so plan ahead if you have special requirements.

Nice apartment, good position, friendly owner

This apartment is really, simply nice, it's clean, has all the facilities (microwave, washing machine, toaster, oven, pots, glasses, cutlery, etc.) to make a nice vacation. In the Vila Verde there is super market, several swimming pools, bank, 2 restaurants, reception (for all the info), and my son's favourite - ICE CREAM shop. We were eating/cooking in the apartment and you have “all the tools” to make a nice dinner in the apartment. I even used the spice Cajun from the owner... so you have really everything. Definitely the best thing is the balcony and view on the swimming pool and beach on the other side of the island. By the pool is also mini bar - we were with the children and we were eating. In the apartment itself there is a flat screen TV, XBOX where my son was in the evening playing for example the billiard. There are also DVD's if you want to watch some movie with the glass of wine. On the TV there are also several channels. We liked music channels. In bathroom with the toilet with you get water from electrical 30 litre boiler that was more than enough for us. The plus point of this apartment is actually the owner - Jason. I needed to find some apartment very fast due to the flight change so I contacted Jason which helped us. He is answering very fast on the e-mails (in 15-30 minutes). There were no extra costs and no tricks with the price. Everything was very transparent. Even Jason didn't have baby cot for our 20 months old son but he managed to solve that for us from England. The guy at the place was Trevor Wilson - very nice, honest and friendly man. Taxi from airport costs 15 €. We walked several times to Santa Maria and to Ponta Preta (there is very good restaurant on the beach). To Santa Maria by walking we needed 15 minutes. If you go with the taxi it's going to cost you 3€. In Santa Maria there is very nice beach even for children by Ristorante Pizzeria "Palm Beach". On the street and in the shops in Santa Maria you can buy everything. Plus point of this apartment is also position because you’re close to Santa Maria but on the other way you are not in the city so we could relax. NO STRESS!

One week on the island of Sal

Very nice place to stay, good pool area, short walk to Santa Maria. Safe and well maintained apartment. Welcoming and helpful hosts. No sun on the terrace, but enough sun in the pool area. Good view to kiting area and "desert". Transport was really easy to find, taxis outside the reception at all times. Free bus to Santa Maria several times every days.
