Parc Drae was originally built as a "Granny Annexe" to the owners' property and offers the following accommodation:

Bedroom with double bed, made up ready for you with fresh bedding (duvet - blankets available by prior arrangement).

Shower room with basin, fan heater and shaver socket. The combined washing machine and tumble drier is located in this room. (Completely refurbished for 2016 season)

Separate toilet with airing cupboard.

"L" shaped living room/kitchen/dining room offering flat screen colour television with Freeview Digital, incorporating a DVD player, video player and stereo in the lounge area.

The kitchen area provides cooker, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, etc., and is very well equipped.

Many of our visitors are catching up with friends or family in the area and like to entertain them for a meal.

We provide a substantial quantity of cutlery and china so that should you wish to entertain friends you will not be embarrassed by a lack of facilities.

There is comfortable seating for four in the lounge and another two seater settee in the dining area.

Free Wi-Fi broadband access is provided. Regrettably wired access is not available.

Parc Drae is strictly No Smoking.

We regret that we do not accept dogs as they tend to upset Sky Puss and Rosie Cat that live with us.

About Yvonne Toms

The owner, Yvonne, was born and brought up in Stithians although she had been away for many years before returning to live in the family home in 1998. The property was built by her father in the 1950s.

Why Yvonne Toms chose Stithians

Parc Drae Holiday Bungalow was originally built as a "granny annex" but having served that purpose has now been tastefully modernised as holiday accommodation, specialising in providing a reasonably priced holiday for couples. There is plenty of space for two and many of our visitors have families in Cornwall and are able to invite them over for meals thanks to the plentiful supply of crockery and cutlery.

Both Yvonne and her husband, Vyvyan, are very involved in the local community.

What makes this bungalow unique

Whilst only a one bedroom property the living accommodation is generous enabling visitors to entertain guests should they so desire or to simply spread out and relax.

Everything you need for a relaxing break

Bungalow sited in excellent position for beaches on all three coasts which are within easy driving distance . Local shop, supermarket not far away and fabulous food at local pub make a relaxing stay even more pleasant. Everything we needed was supplied from wifi to washing up liquid! So relaxing, I've never had so many lie-ins!

Stithians itself is a typical Cornish village - many granite cottages interspersed with more recent buildings. The surrounding countryside is farm and woodland.

Stithians is centrally located between Truro, Falmouth, Redruth & Helston and as such is ideal for visits to either North or South coast.

Stithians is well located for many of Cornwall's attractions. In about half an hour you can be swimming in the sea, sunbathing on the beach, exploring an historic castle, walking in glorious gardens, discovering Cornwall's heritage, visiting Flambards or the Cornish Seal Sanctuary, or savouring one of the many historic ports around the coast.

The village offers many facilities, all within a few minutes walk of Parc Drae.

The Seven Stars public house which serves snacks/meals.

Large playing field with equipment for children.

A new Costcutter Store has recently opened on the outskirts of the village.

The area abounds with footpaths.

Truro, Redruth, Camborne, Helston and Falmouth are all within a half hour drive.

Penzance, Bodmin, Wadebridge, Newquay and St. Austell are all within one hour by car.

The village has regular bus services.

At the end of the holiday the property should, please, be left in a clean and tidy condition, but we do not expect you to undertake a detailed clean - you are, after all, on holiday.
Any minor breakages/damages should be reported so that we can ensure that subsequent guests are not affected.Only in the event of substantial damage would we seek to obtain redress from the hirer where that damage appears to be due to negligence or carelessness.  
Arrival & departure:
Parc Drae is available from 3 p. m. on the day of arrival and you are asked to depart by 10.30 a.m. on the day of departure.
When your booking is confirmed I will provide details of how to access Parc Drae in the event that I may not be here to welcome you.
Parc Drae is non-smoking.
We do not accept pets
