Our lovely apartment, which is a few minutes walk to Los Gigantes centre and opposite the Tipsy Terrace Wine Bar & Sports Centre is a real 'home from home', with everything guests could want to make their stay a really enjoyable experience.

Ideally suited to mature couples who like all the creature comforts of home; the short walk into the village means that you don't need to worry about a car, the bus or a taxi

Towels and linens are of high quality as are glassware, crockery and cutlery. There are beach towels available for guest use and two Personal Sunbeds (with comfortable pads) available at the poolside and also two on the terrace along with table and 4 chairs for al fresco dining and sunbathing.

Washing machine, clothes drier, iron, ironing board, champagne bucket, smart TV to access worldwide TV (including bbc, itv etc), ASUS tablet, IPod Dock, cool bag, ACER notebook, umbrella for pool use (and another for the odd time it rains), two hair dryers ... The list is endless!.

The second bedroom has two single beds, small wardrobe and chest of drawers and the master bedroom a super king size bed and ample wardrobe and drawer storage for clothes and toiletries - both bedrooms have ceiling fans.

The second bedroom is on the small side and would be a little cramped for 2 adults.

There us a safe in the master bedroom (we only have one key so please don't lose it!). The kitchen has mfridge/freezer, cooker, hob, washing machine (outside in a cupboard on the terrace) and a plethora of utensils - perhaps the only thing we don't have is a dishwasher. (yet)

The bathroom is compact with shelving storage, towel rail, robe hook, a very large walk in shower together with sink and w.c.

Beautiful apartment

Located in a quiet area of the Island (compared to The Americas, for example), this beautiful apartment is fantastically well-equipped. We do lots of self-catering on holiday, and there was nothing in terms of appliances or items that were lacking.

The pool is amazing - just the right temperature to cool you down without making you cold. The kids played in it for hours.

It was unseasonably hot when we were there (even locals were commenting on the heat) and the apartment did get hot, but this is a very minor point. We would definitely return.

Fantastic all round!!!!

The communications from Karen and Will were excellent, we had a couple of questions before we booked which they answered very quickly and which proved very helpful.

The apartment is spacious and kitted out with everything we could have wanted and more besides, it was spotlessly clean when we arrived and there was some wine and beers for us to enjoy which was brilliant, a thoughtful touch that made us feel very welcome.

The swimming pool and gardens were nice and we had it more or less to ourselves most days, they have their own sun loungers and sunshade by the pool so there was no hassle looking for a sun bed, the balcony has a sea view and overlooks the tennis courts and Tipsy Terrace, great for having a glass of wine, watching the world go by and listening to the entertainment at Tipsy's. After 11.00 pm you can hear a pin drop, lovely and quiet.

The main bed is massive ! and they have an air cooling unit which is brilliant, especially at night.

The nearest supermarket is a five minute walk away where you can get everything you need for self catering, this was very handy.

We had a great holiday, Karen and Will were brilliant hosts and it really was like staying at their home rather than some bland holiday let.

Lovely holiday apartment

We had a really lovely holiday in Los Gigantes and the apartment was perfect for us. The location is good and not too far from the village.

The pool was gorgeous and we enjoyed swimming & sunbathing most days around the poolside. It was almost like having our own pool. The apartment is well equipped and had everything we needed, especially the Wi-Fi which is a necessity for us. We have already booked to go back again in October.Thank you Karen & Will.

Home from home

We spent three weeks in Will and Karen's apartment. It was perfect in every way. Being keen tennis players all we had to do was cross the road and there were the courts. We couldn't have envisaged a more perfect spot. The pool was so refreshing after our tennis tournaments and we swam every day usually having the pool to ourselves. The apartment was so comfortable and immediately we felt at home.

Will and Karen replied promptly to our many questions and we felt 100% confident in booking with them.

We loved eating our meals on the balcony and with Dinomarket and Lidl close by we were spoilt for choice. Even Mercadona was within walking distance.

We truly had a lovely three weeks and are going to return.

Lovely apartment in an ideal location

As already mentioned in other reviews the apartment is perfectly located and is central to all amenities. To the left of the apartment up the hill you'll find Hiper Dino supermarket, 5 mins walk To the right is the centre of Los Gigantes, again 5 mins walk.

We enjoyed having breakfast across the road, every morning, at Tipsy terrace. Lovely staff and delicious fresh food. Also enjoyed our second visit to El Rincon de Juan Carlos it was absolutely divine. The only poor restaurant we visited was El Pescador, avoid this place like the plague.

The apartment is spacious, clean, modern and you have access to all of Will and Karen's holiday comforts. This does feel a little strange at first but it makes you very appreciative of how much the owners go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your stay.

You needn't be anxious the apartment has everything you will need to ensure your holiday goes like a dream. We particularly appreciated NOT having to play the sunbed game every day. The apartment sunbeds are locked for your personal use only. We stayed at Royal Sun Resort in Xmas 2016 and having to get up at first light to obtain sun bed wasn't enjoyable.

A massive thank you to Will and Karen who clearly go that extra mile to ensure your stay in their holiday home is perfect. The only downside...it was over much to quickly.

Los Gigantes is a very pretty village, fairly quiet, with A wide range of restaurants to meet all tastes and budgets and a number of bars ... If you are looking for nightclubs and loud music until the early hours, our guess is Los Gigantes will not be for you. There is a sports centre (tennis and mini golf), a busy harbour where you can pick up a boat to view our famous cliffs and to see our dolphins and whales. A lovely public pool and gardens 'The Oasis' is a really great place to visit for couples and families alike, children love the slides and the children's area especially (entry is fairly cheap) and its a great spot directly overlooking the sea. The village square and church are a nice feature of the village and give it a nice Spanish 'feel'. There are the adjacent towns of San Juan, Alcala, Puerto Santiago and Playa del Arena which are close by for those who want to explore a little (all doable by bus or walking for nearer towns).
