Converted character Barn in a peaceful rural setting with stunning views and facilities. The Village has a church and award winning public house - just a 10min walk from the barn, Only 7 miles to the beautiful historic town of Sherborne with its 2 castles and fine shops. The Jurassic coast - West Bay, Lyme Regis, Weymouth etc - within 30mins drive away. The train line on the outskirts of the village can take you to Weymouth or Bristol and is only a 20min walk away, perfect for a day out in Bath. Lots of country walks across the fields in this fantastic part of Dorset. Indoor heated swimming pool. The Barn has an open plan Kitchen, Living, Dining Room with large terrace on the first floor, with 2 double ensuite bedrooms on the ground floor.Sofa bed in lounge, if required. Please note the swimming pool is only heated and available to use between 7/4/17 and 29/10/17. During the colder months the pool will not be heated and unavailable to use.

Fabulous accommodation, perfect family getaway

We had a wonderful holiday and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lorna was very welcoming and the gift of fresh eggs and marmalade on arrival was very much appreciated. The barn has everything you could wish for, it was very comfortable and a fantastic base for exploring both Dorset and Somerset. The swimming pool was an amazing added bonus which we enjoyed on the few rainy days whilst we stayed. We would recommend staying here to everyone and will be back in the future.

The barn is spacious and well presented. Great open plan living area and fab views! The pool is ace!

We thoroughly loved our stay. Lorna and her family have clearly done a fantastic job at providing a great place for people to enjoy a well-situated, relaxing holiday. The barn has everything you need plus more with the use of the swimming pool! There's a nice local pub within walking distance and lovely walks to take directly from the property. I would not hesitate to recommend a stay here. And I for one shall certainly be planning a return visit. Well done Lorna on such a wonderful holiday home and thank you for making our stay so perfect.

Beautiful accommodation. Lovely hosts

We had a lovely stay. The indoor pool was used relentlessly and was up kept to the highest standard. The barn was immaculately presented with all mod con's included. The hosts Lorna and Andrew were extremely welcoming, polite and helpful #lovelyfamily and thanks for the welcome gifts of fresh eggs and home made marmalade. We explored the local area and also a day spent on Weymouth beach with the dog. The horses and the chickens all add to the 'being away from it all' experience. I can't praise this place enough and will be recommending this to our friends and family

We totally intend to re visit and stay for a longer period. The family all really enjoyed the whole ambiance of relaxed and yet productive in a beautiful surround. Once again, thanks again to our lovely hosts... Regards The Williams Family...

Beautiful and welcoming! :)

Our stay at the Park House Barn was enjoyable and the house had beautiful views. We also loved the eggs and honey that we were supplied with. Our children also enjoyed playing in the swimming pool and the fields. The beaches were nearby and we found many a fossil on the cliffs. The weather was nice and overall it was a relaxing break from work. We would definitely recommend to others and go there again during the Summer.

Fab-u-lous

This secluded property is the perfect retreat. The owners Lorna and Andrew are welcoming and helpful but have the balance just right in leaving you to enjoy your stay in privacy. Plenty of parking right next to the property with walks directly from the door over open fields. On arrival the basket of complimentary locally made items was a lovely touch. The pool was warm which kept the children occupied for hours! A 10 minute walk takes you to the local village pub where the service is friendly and real ales/food delicious. Can't recommend highly enough....and we are fussy devils!
