Situated 5 miles from Fort William in the Great Glen, you are ideally located to view Ben Nevis, explore Lochaber, try a variety of pursuits and see why Lochaber is called the “Outdoor Capital of the UK”. Three miles from the “Road to the Isles”, our location ensures good access to the west coast including Moidart, Ardnamurchan and ferry access to the Small Isles and Skye.The immediate area holds an abundance of wildlife and fauna such as Pine Marten, Red deer, Roe deer, Otter, Owls, Buzzard, Butterflies, Kingfisher and Orchid, mosses and lichens.

With a large enclosed garden with a small stream running through, great for kids and pets to play and enjoy the great outdoors. Cot and High Chair available.

Bookings at Maybank include membership to local Fort William leisure club comprising pool, gym, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room.

About The Owner

Maybank was our family home until we move a mile away to a property with land so we could have livestock.

The Owner purchased this bungalow in 1997

Maybank is an early 1980’s built bungalow on the North West bank of the Caledonian Canal located at the end of a tarmacadamed private access road. The property is double glazed throughout and heated via gas central heating with the lounge supplemented by an open fire with the ability to burn coal, logs and peat. In a stunning location great to escape from the hustle and bustle of life and relax. Perfect for family's, pets welcome.

Bonnie house in bonnie location

What a great house and a great situation. The house was clean, spacious and really comfortable. The view from the conservatory over the Caledonian canal to Ben Nevis range was stunning and no light pollution meant a great room for star gazing. Nice big garden with access to canal path and lots of games to keep excited children and adults amused. Plenty of space to chill out and lovely bedrooms. Thank you, we would come again.

Perfect situation,size,facilities warmth,comfort and view.

This has to be among the best holiday rental we have had.

I would recommend it to any family group or friends Plenty space for one to have quiet time yet spacious sitting room ,diner and porch

Two small points .We couldnt get cooker hood to function and charging lead for emergency torch was broken neither affected our stay.

Excellent, just as described, beautiful location

This property was just what we were looking for, and offers a brilliant view of Ben Nevis. It is well equipped and is perfect for a large family, and includes a large lawned garden and access to the canal.
