What makes this apartment unique

One of the most striking features of this apartment is its feeling of space and openness - contributing to a coolness in the heat of the day. In probably the best location on the site, the terraces overlook the stunning gardens and large pool and from the room you can just about see the sea on a clear day! The lack of light pollution facilitates a wonderful star filled night sky. . There is plenty of space for parking several cars, but you will need one to explore all the countryside and towns and villages nearby.

Spacious, well kept, 3 bedroomed apartment

Lovely apartment.....probably the nicest we've stayed in. Very spacious and well equipped. The pool and surrounding grounds are well maintained as the photographs show. Sadly the surrounding area has not been developed and therefore there are no facilities within walking distance. However we had a car, and within 25 minutes you could be at the coast where there are plenty of lovely beaches, shops, restaurants and bars. Overall, great value for money.

Lovely duplex in a peaceful place.

We are a spanish family of five members and stayed in the property in the end of august. The dúplex has a huge dinning room, a modern kitchen, washing room and toilet dowstairs. Tree big bedrooms with two bathrooms upstairs. All the dúplex has a modern furniture. Also there is two terrace, air conditioned, free wifi and a private parking. The apartment it,s on the first floor of the buiding. The lift doesn,t work, but the stairs are quite comfortable to go up. The dúplex it,s on a private urbanisation. It has private security wich it is very strict. We like it because we have young children. It has a very well mantained and beatifull pool . You need a car to buy food.

We really had a nice holidays. The dúplex had every thing we needed and children enjoied the pool a lot . We find the water warm and all the area around it was very clean. I personally like it a lot because it looks like a luxury hotel pool. There is a lot of supermarkets around were the dúplex is and one thing we find perfect is that it is in the middle of way to visit Murcia, Cartagena, Cabo de Palos...Only takes you 20 minutes by car each place.

In other hand you need always the car to go to restaurants, go shopping or to the beach

We took our bikes with us and the urbanisation was perfect to go biking because it,s has no many buildings yet, so it, s no very busy.

I,ll recomend this place for families with childrend and people who likes quite holidays or travellers that like visit places and also a swimming pool for relax as it,s our case.

The historic, cultural and cosmopolitan city of Murcia is 15 minutes away to the west, with its varied shops, plazas, restaurants, bars and the famous Cathedral. Murcia has featured in the Sunday Times Undiscovered Jewels of Europe series and is also famous for its fiestas and its exciting nightlife.

20 minutes drive to the East lies the beautiful Costa Calida (warm coast), with its twin seas of the Mediterranean and the Mar Menor, with varied water sports and many beautiful sandy beaches and resorts along 274km of coastline.If you want a peaceful holiday away from all the crowds yet within easy reach of all the attractions of the Murcia region, then my apartment at Banos y Mendigo is ideal. It is situated at the foot of mountains which form a UNESCO protected Nature Reserve, therefore within a beautiful and peaceful no-fly zone. Just over the mountain towards Murcia on the A30 you can visit: Santuario de la Fuensanta; Ermita San Antonio El Pobre; and El Valle Visitor Centre and its Wildlife Recovery Centre.

The Province of Murcia, at 3000hrs per year, has the most sunshine hours in the whole of Spain and has been declared the cleanest and least polluted Province in Europe by the World Health Organisation. The area has 19 protected Nature Reserves and a Marine Reserve. There are many and varied golf courses very close by at exceptionally good rates. Please get in touch for details
