'El Artista' is beautiful apartment situated above the Neilson Art Gallery in the picturesque village of Grazalema in the Sierra de Grazalema.
This 3 bedroom apartment sleeps up to 4 people. The apartment has its own independent entrance from the quieter rear street.
On the first floor there are two single bedrooms, as well as a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and lounge with under floor electric heating and wood burning stove, television with DVD player, and a bathroom.
The top floor is accessed by an open plan staircase,( not suitable for young children) and here you will find the third bedroom with a double bed and
second bathroom, which also leads onto the roof terrace with magnificent views over the roof tops to the mountains beyond.
The apartment comes fully equipped with bedding and towels.
There is free WiFi internet access and an electric piano.

Accommodation had everything we needed. Really nice, loads of room, very clean and modern. Couldn't fault it. Easy couple of minutes walk to shops and restaurants. We've already booked to come again.

A wonderful base from which to explore this area of outstanding beauty.

Our family of four stayed at "El Artista" for a week in mid July 2018. The apartment is very comfortable, very stylishly furnished and with a terrace that has a view across the village rooftops and the Sierra beyond - quite breathtaking. On a purely practical note, the kitchen is very well-equipped and the WiFi very reliable (better than at home !) Jack, the owner, gave us very helpful advice on places to visit. We very much hope to return at some point in the future.

Amazing and airy accommodation in a serene spot

Spent a wonderful week at "El Artista" this summer and can confidently say that it's one of the best apartments I've ever (a) had the fortune to discover and successfully book and (b) had the absolute pleasure of staying in. Perfect in every way! A beautifully bright and spacious apartment with everything you'd need for a comfortable stay. Plenty of information, local guides, maps of the area available and speedy internet access through the apartment. Towels and bedding in abundance and of excellent quality, Some very lovely touches e.g.. when we opened the fridge there was a small tray with a bottle of fizz and 2 chilling glasses plus chocolate, which was very welcome! Fabulous roof terrace with great views of the mountains and the rooftops of Grazalema. A very tranquil place yet only a few minutes walk from the bustling square, which is the best place to stop for a drink and people watching. Another highlight of our stay was the magnificent municipal pool nestling in the mountains at Gastrobar "La Maroma" further up the hill from the main square in Grazalema. 2 euros entry fee to swim and lounge around for as long as you wish! We were fortunate to bump into Jack, the owner, during our stay - a very friendly, helpful host indeed. I would highly recommend this amazing apartment to anyone wanting to experience and explore Andalusia - and i hope to return some time in the not too distant future! Absolutely fabulous! A wonderfully stylish and tranquil apartment

This apartment is perfect! Modern, stylish, nestled away in a gorgeous village with stunning views over the mountains from the bedroom balcony. Very well equipped with the added treat of original art on display throughout. 5 stars +!

Welcome Thank you for visiting our site.  We are based in Grazalema, one of the prettiest villages at the heart of the parque natural "Sierra de Grazalema". The villages, mountains and valleys of the "Sierra de Grazalema" are incredibly beautiful, rich in both plant and animal life, with strong cultural links to both the Romans and the Moors.  The area was declared by UNESCO in 1977 as a Biosphere Reserve, an area of world importance.
Grazalema  is an ideal base for both rural and village holidays and offers a wealth of different experiences from walking, horse riding, bird watching, swimming and fishing to a good selection of restaurants and bars or for just relaxing.
It is also a great base to visit most of the main tourist sites in Andalucia,  e.g. Cadiz, Seville Malaga, Algecira, the Costa del Sol and the Atlantic coast all of which are within a 2 hours drive away, and Granada and Cordoba which are within a 3 hour drive.
