Fantastic

This is an amazing house: beautifully designed to make the most of the fantastic 180 degree views of the sea. We even saw dolphins! There are beaches and restaurants within about 4km and it has easy access to hiking and cycling routes. The house itself is well equipped and the generous gift of local Galician groceries was very much appreciated. We thoroughly recommend this property.

Beautiful home, perfect holiday

We had the most wonderful stay in A Curra, Carnota. Everything was well beyond our expectations. Beatriz and Ramon went above and beyond to make us feel so welcome in their home. It’s a gorgeous house in a beautiful part of the world, and the warmth of the people made it all the more special. The house itself was immaculate, and there were many thoughtful touches to make our stay comfortable. It’s so peaceful and relaxing there. We also had a great time at the beautiful beaches and climbing up Mount Pindo. We can’t wait to go back! Thank you!!

Another wonderful holiday on the Costa da Morte

We were privileged to stay in Bea and Ramon's lovely house once again this year. It's still as perfect as last year, very comfortable, beautifully situated and incredibly clean. The surrounding area kept us occupied too, and we managed to do completely different activities to last year: we climbed Monte Pindo to sample the wonderful views of the bay stretching towards Finisterre; we drove to Vigo and Pontevedra; we cycled up to As Paxareiras and to Punta de Lariño to enjoy the vistas; we bought and ate peppers from Padrón; and we jumped in the sea at Ézaro to cool down during the weekend heatwave. It was always a pleasure to come back to the house and relax each evening and prepare for new adventures the next day. Our only regret was that our stay did not last long enough, so we would like to come back again, perhaps at a different time of year, to sample more of the region's delights. It was lovely to see the owners at the start of our holiday and they were as helpful and charming as ever. We look forward to seeing you again soon. Moitas grazas!

Beautiful house with fantastic view of the Atlantic

We had a wonderful two weeks staying in this house just outside Carnota on the Galician coast. The house is very modern, attractive, clean and well-equipped. It is more spacious and even nicer than the photos suggest. Very peaceful and with a great view of the Atlantic Ocean and across to Finisterre (when the sea mist/clouds are not down!) Lovely backdrop of the mountains. Quite a selection of beaches within easy driving distance, with golden sand and good views. There are a number of things to do in the area - the Ezaro waterfall is a short drive away and you can drive on from there up into the mountains. Muros is a lovely old little town right on the coast. Santiago is just over an hour away and is really lovely. Finisterre is just round the coast and is interesting to see. The old town of Pontevedra is about 90 mins away and is great to wander round. A Coruna is a similar distance away and has a good aquarium if the weather is not so great! The area is generally very relaxing and the seafood plentiful and really delicious. We had a lovely time and would definitely return. Many thanks to Beatriz for letting us stay in her lovely house!
