Brilliant house, brilliant village, really convenient for snow.
We just got back from a week stay in Arties. We were two families of four and the house was plenty big enough. All of the important things were covered; lots of hot water, easy to park two cars, lovely wood fire, lots of space. Roman was a hugely helpful and friendly host and in regular contact when we needed it (and left us alone when we didn't).
For those wishing to ski - Baqueira is a 10 min drive and lots of free parking options, at different lifts. Arties is a much better base than Baqueira though; a pretty little town, great food and drink options. It's not a 'ski resort' and lovely to come back to each evening. Highly recommended.
The house is really warm and cosy. It's not sterile or modern - it's a family home. Nice big table for meals and games. Literally two mins walk to a lovely deli for food and wine, and to the middle of Arties. A big supermarket is in Vielha, ten mins drive.
