About Jacopo de Bertoldi

The de Bertoldi Family own the property since it was built in the early 1500.

Since 1989 the restored buildings have been open to the public together with the small restaurant.

Luisa and Giovanni de Bertoldi enjoy to host anybody who loves the countryside and the nature.

Why Jacopo de Bertoldi chose Belluno

Halfway between the world of Venice and the North, Belluno, called the Venice of the mountain, is a popular tourist destination, where art, history and culture create a perfect union with the wonderful natural surroundings. A fairy-tale landscape of many small towns, impressive mountains, beautiful valleys and quiet forests.

What makes this apartment unique

A few hundred meters from the Piave river and surrounded by a rural and intact valley, from which paths that climb up to the pastures of the mount Nevegal, Casa de Bertoldi is the perfect place for outdoor activities in summer as well as in winter. You can walk the beautiful dirt roads, with gentle ups and downs surrounding the estate, practicing Nordic Walking and mountain-biking or simply walking. The option to go directly from the countryside to the Pre-Alps Belluno / Treviso, allows guests to discover the surrounding land, performing hiking of different length and difficulty, remaining totally immersed in the nature. Local expert horsemans, deep connoisseur of the area, are available to take you on quiet horse riding as well as to get involved in adventures in complete freedom, along bridle paths, discovering mountain trails or fording the Piave.

Lake Santa Croce, known for sailing sports, is located about ten minutes from the farm. More or less at the same distance you can find the Mis lake, where the Brentòn creek carved a series of very suggestive natural pools.

At about twenty minutes driving to the north, you are already surrounded by the dolomitic scenery between some of the most important peaks of the area like Mount Civetta and Mount Pelmo.

Rustic work in progress, relaxed, friendly, country charm with excellent food

  • 4 of 5

A perfect get away. Not overly furnished, but all you need. Wifi is spotty. Shower is small. No laundry in apartment. All that is insignificant when compared to the charm of this place and the lovely people who are restoring it. You feel welcome and are well fed. You are also left alone to do as you please. Claudio and his wife are new additions to the host crew and they are lovely and very helpful. We want to come back and see the transformations over time, there are multiple buildings and not all renovations are complete, but that does not impact the guests at all.

a nice rustic property.

  • 3 of 5

The property was about 10 minutes outside Belluno and was very quiet and rustic. The food was good and the rooms seemed to be in and old bunkhouse. They were clean and rustic. Because it was hot, we slept on the hide a bed downstairs as it was cooler. The kitchen was old and not very well lit so we didn't cook as the included breakfast and the dinners were very good. There was a lot of good hiking in the area. Belluno had some good restaurants if you wanted to eat there instead of at the agritourismo. A nice place if you want a quiet place away from it all.

Beautiful place with friendly people.

  • 5 of 5

Tucked away and feels like time stood still at this beautiful place. Owners very relaxed and very friendly. Food was outstanding, so was the red wine. Will go back one day. Highly recommend this property if you are looking for peace, nature, and friendly people.

Amazing Food, Rustic, Roomy, Fun to meet other guests, Excellent service

  • 5 of 5

We met guests from Germany, Ghana, India, and Italy.. Accommodations were rustic, but apartments were roomy, clean, and comfortable. No AC, so recommend for fall/ spring for most comfort, but had a really great experience. The home cooked dinners were 5 star! Seriously!! Im not a breakfast person, but they also provided basic breakfasts for those who are. We would totally go again!

Its a bit far from town, so a car is definitely needed to see Belluno or surrounding area. Highly recommend if you are looking for an affordable, comfortable, culturally enriching get away. We will go again for sure!!

Very quiet friendly place in old farm close enough to Belluno for convenience, good base for hiking!

  • 4 of 5

The holiday flat was spacious for four adults and had a convenient kitchen with basic cooking utensils. We very much liked the breakfast room atmosphere and the breakfast. Our sons were fascinated by the agile and friendly dog on the wall!

Schöne Unterkunft, etwas ab vom Schuss

  • 4 of 5
