About Caroline

Born and raised in Central Africa, we relocated to the Auvergne to live our dream. Renovating our beautiful 18th Century farmhouse and out buildings to welcome and accommodate people who want to relax and enjoy peace and tranquility.

Caroline purchased this cottage in 2015

Why Caroline chose Saint-Priest-des-Champs

The charm and character of the rustic farmhouse, and buildings comes from the exposed stone walls and oak beams. The beautiful garden is alive with bird life and a real sun trap.

What makes this cottage unique

The property stands at the end of a quiet country lane. To the front of the south facing farmhouse and Bakehouse are breathtaking views of rolling hills and the distant Sancy mountains. To the east the little village with its church can be seen in the distace. The lovely gardens are alive with birdlife and offer a number of seating areas with spectacular views . A"boma" patio area is perfect for alfresco dining. It is a little piece of heaven deep in the Combrailles.

Cozy house in a beautiful tranquil setting off the beaten path

  • 5 of 5

We spent 3 nights in this lovely, clean and well-equipped home surrounded by incredible natural beauty in the Auvergne. Wish we'd had a longer stay to discover more of the area's sites and food. The host was very accommodating and helpful. Highly recommend this place!

Super!

  • 5 of 5

The bakehouse was beautifully restored with a magnificent view over the valley. Calm and peaceful gardens, just perfect.

Caroline could not have done anything more for us, nothing was too much trouble.

We had a wonderful meal with them on the last night.

It was a lovely week.

11/10. Thank you Caroline and Tony.
