New house for 2017

Built on a single floor, with good-size rooms and terrace, as well as easy access and an excellent location (less than 200m to local shop, chemist, playground; and 400m to Roche’s stunning beach), Casa Encinar is a particularly good choice for those travelling with children or older people.

Despite having been built less than 10 years ago, the house has a charm and atmosphere normally associated with older properties. The use of old wood throughout, as well as traditional whitewashed walls, terracotta floor tiles, and the typical coloured azulejos on the walls provides the feel of a traditional Andaluz country home; yet Casa Encinar is in the middle of a luxury estate (with all its facilities) and just a 5-minute walk from a stunning beach. The house has a capacity of 6 (extendable to 7 -see below), but the sensation of space is that of a larger property; starting with the fine entrance courtyard and hall, and then moving through to the kitchen, sitting room, and the large covered terrace beyond. The swimming pool has a portable fence that can be put in place or taken away according to your needs. And the rest of the garden is well looked after and enjoys both sun and shade. There is broadband Internet connection and TV (with some international channels), and there is off-road parking for two cars.

About DosXtremos

We are a husband-wife team that left Madrid for Spain’s deep south and a change of ...well, virtually everything really! We came up with the idea of Dos Xtremos in 2006, the catalyst being the need to increase the number of people renting our own properties, one in La Coruña and the other in Cadiz (Atlantic Spain’s two wonderful extremes). And since then, even though the business has grown (we now manage a number of properties for other owners), our goal has always been the same:  “these are two wonderful and relatively undeveloped areas of Spain that have brought us enormous happiness; so let’s try and tell other people about them!”  For this reason, the website has a heavy focus on regional information and includes details on the activities that we enjoy, both individually and as a family with young children.

Excellent villa super safe for toddlers

We loved our stay and DosXtremos went out od the way to make our stay complete. We had twin 18 month girls with us and felt very safe to let them roam about the property, even when we did not have them in sight. The pool was fenced. And the fence around the yard was sealed tight so that not only toddlers cant get out, any animals could not get in. We loved it and look forward to going back.

Huset är lagom stort, rent och snyggt och har en underbar avskild trädgård med fin pool och jättefin terrass. Det tar bara 10 minuter att gå till en fantastisk strand.
