Very conveniently located

Bit of difficulty getting into property because the person we were to meet was late about an hour. Got that resolved and after she left discovered heat didn't work, called Kate and she sent a person out on the third day of our stay, luckily it wasn't terribly cold so we survived. Furniture comfortable, flat was clean. We did not find the tube noise to be a problem but it was there. Overall a comfortable and convenient spot to explore London

Great location!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay in this flat. Very spacious and the outdoor garden was a nice addition for light and air into the space. The flat is about a 5 minute walk to the Gloucester tube which is also one of the stops for the "Hop on Hop Off" bus rides - very convenient. Other reviews mentioned that you can hear rumbling of the tube in the flat. True, but we didn't find it to be too disruptive - you get used to it. It should also be mentioned that the bedroom shares a wall with the elevator/lift shaft. It was not heavily used, but you are aware of tenants going to work earlier in the morning and then coming home from evenings out. It didn't bother my husband, but I'm a light sleeper so found it a bit more difficult to ignore. Other than that, we found the flat well appointed and comfortable.

Just super! Perfect location!

Just great! Kate was responsive, the space and amenities all and more than we needed. I loved the crispy clean sheets. Always a good sign.

It was spacious w/ attractive decor. I love it when folks leave the odd condiment or coffee/tea makings behind. There is that tube train that bothers some but it didn't bother us in the least. Missed the patio, however, as it was undergoing a paint job. A minor hiccup at the end of the day that the owner kindly made a fee adjustment for. Book it! Enjoy!

Great location and spacious flat!

The flat is located in a great area and easy to get around. As mentioned in previous posts it is under the tube so there is noise from that and the lift, but neither was enough to both us as we weren't home much and feel it is priced appropriately. Only issue we had was that the kitchen and floors were not very clean when we arrived so we did notify the owner. There was construction going on the outside of the building that was out of Kate's control, but she warned us and offered compensation which we appreciated.

Convenient flat for holidays

My family and I booked to stay for two weeks over Christmas period, without checking the reviews before. I choose this area because I lived in 1970's near by. The apartment its cozy clean and specious with very nice patio and lots of light, although it is in the basement. Well, about the noise from the trains, perhaps its not appropriate fro writers. The trains passing under the ground are not that frequent whenever we where there plus its a bass noise and after 2-3 minutes doesn't irritate. South Kensington station and the surroundings will cover all your needs, try The Kensington Hotel around the corner will give you the British style in all. Brenda the caretaker is an angel with so much love and manners and helpful. My only advice to the owner Kate, the sofa bed needs an extra roller mattress for two persons and little overweight! I shall definitely book it again for our summer holidays in London. No doudt the flat is one of the best in the area as far as the price and space and design concerns. Emmanuel

Excellent apartment
