Get away from it all at The Lake House

Fabulous greeting from Joao and his daughter, extremely friendly and helpful. The house is spacious and well equiped (although lacks a washing machine). Views to die for of the lake and the garden is fantastic to sunbathe, swim in the pool or have a bbq. The house has its own jetty which we made much use of when swimming in the lake. You can contact Vitor who runs the boat place opposite and he will come and pick you up and take you across the lake for a couple of euros each. There you can do all manner of water sports and the restaurant is very good too. The nearest town is about 15 minutes drive but has good supermarket and restaurants. If you are looking for peace and tranquility then this is it, so relaxing and highly recommended.

we had a lovely stay everything we needed very nice owners and brill location

we only managed to get 5 days here but if you want peace and quiet a good location beautiful scenery and plenty of water sports this is the place. very friendly helpful owners and considering the hot weather we had the house remains cool. we had a few fly's but considering the location it was to be expected. with children an internet connection or maybe better TV channels would help, but we had a very nice time anyway and highly recommend this and would like to thank Joao his Wife and his very Pretty Doughtier

Great place for family holidays

The house is very spacious and incredibly clean. A quiet place very close to the lake and with an excellent swimming pool. Everything is very well maintained and the house is equipped with everything and more. Thank you so much, Joao, for the great holidays.

Excelente experiência.

Excelente semana num local tranquilo com contacto direto com a natureza. Moradia com todas as comodidades necessárias destacando-se o seu espaço exterior com a sua piscina convidativa nesses dias de calor. Anfitrião João sempre prestável e preocupado com a nossa estadia e com que nada nos faltasse. Recomendo vivamente a todos aqueles que amam a natureza, a tranquilidade e o sossego e que não dispensam uma boa casa com todas as condições para uma boa estadia. Excelente experiência.
