About the property

This 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom has been updated but retains its integrity.

This is the cutest cottage available in Pittenweem. If you are looking for a high tech getaway this may not be suited for you. On the upside it has everything else you will need to enjoy your stay and then some. The beds are really comfortable and the living area has been recently updated with new furniture and carpet. The yard is great for a morning cup of tea or an evening barbecue. Although being a really quiet location you will find the local amenities and harbour a couple of minutes walk away.

About Elaine and Peter

We just started renting in the summer of 2016 with great response. We already have people threatening to return! Our rates reflect the fact that we would like our guests to come and enjoy the area as we do.

Why Elaine and Peter chose Pittenweem

The cottage belonged to Elaine's father and we enjoy it and maintain it in his honour. It is uniquely located in the conservation area of Pittenweem being very quiet yet close to the local amenities.

What makes this cottage unique

The interior of the cottage is ample in size and the private yard is maintained for your enjoyment.

Great find!

  • 5 of 5

What a gorgeous cottage! We absolutely loved our stay here and will be back again very soon. It’s bright, very clean, warm and cosy - and much bigger than it appears in the photographs. Everything you could possibly need is provided (towels, bed linen, toiletries, tea/coffee, a well equipped kitchen etc.). The garden is lovely and well maintained with furniture provided in the shed. It’s a 2 minute walk to Pittenweem’s harbour area and then on to the beautiful coastal walk. The price is extremely reasonable and the owner is so nice and accommodating. We can’t wait to go back!

Very Sweet Traditional Cottage

  • 5 of 5

Warm, cosy cottage with comfy beds and huge sofa by the fire. We didn’t cook on our short stay, but kitchen looked well equipped. Bathroom was lovely with super hot towel rail, so always dry towels. We were given so many towels we actually put some back in the cupboard. All in all a good cottage in a perfect location for us. My only query would be parking instructions, coming back late one evening there was no space and I wasn’t sure which wall to park against as there were many doors that I could have blocked, didn’t want to upset the neighbours!

Peter was very helpful to try and make sure everything was right. Would have liked a few more details on operations in the kitchen and up to date places that are dog friendly for getting meals. Enjoyed the outside area with some great sunny spots to sit in when the weather kind. Had a few days glad to say.😊?
