2-7 rooms in renovated farmhouse and outbuilding in a green

Ideally located between Marciac and Vic Fezensac, in a green area in the country of Biscay, the lodging of Samalens offers 2 independent apartments set in a beautiful completely renovated farmhouse can accommodate comfortably from 4 to 18 people.

Holiday Cottage, we also welcome your horses in box (box 2) or meadow, 20x40 career and small indoor arena.

The "small" cottage charm you with its stone walls and exposed beams. In front, a terrace and a large wooden table allow you to enjoy the warmth and sunshine. Inside, you enter the ground floor in the living room, kitchen, dining area and small living room in a beautiful room with exposed stone and beams and a delicious freshness in summer appease the most heated. 2 completely renovated rooms are upstairs which is accessed by an ancient little wooden staircase overlooking a large landing. The room has one bed for 140 with a shape memory mattress and the other two single beds. A corner room with a pull out extra bed (two beds possible) is provided on the landing. The shower room with toilet is located on the ground floor.

typical farm house, the main house is just as charming. On the ground floor separate entrance and living room with beams and fireplace are antique tiles. Beautiful parquet floor to the downstairs bedroom with a bed of 140 and features a fireplace and a lovely view of the well of the house. Go down three steps from the living room, you go into the dining room with fireplace and two large wooden tables comfortably accommodate 14 people. Three more steps and this is the kitchen with cooking piano and an American fridge. A glass door provides access to the terrace. Basically a shower room with toilet and a small wooden staircase leads upstairs with a mezzanine landing where a single bed and an extra bed (BZ), and a lovely room renovated timbered with a king size mattress (180x200) shape memory.

From the main entrance another ancient wooden staircase leads to the bathroom with toilet and the master bedroom upstairs with fireplace (ornamental) freshly renovated, with a king size mattress shape memory.

Bathrooms and bedrooms have views of the Pyrenees, of course when the weather permits. Another bathroom is located under the stairs on the ground floor.

The rooms all overlook the front of the house, swimming pool and lovely garden. A large partially covered terrace runs along the house. Guests can dine in the shade or in the sun on the large garden table.

The decoration is decorated with personal objects gleaned during the 15 years of expatriation owners that complement the charm of the property where old stone and timbered recall every moment of authenticity.

Guests can also enjoy a beautiful and large game room in a converted barn with billiards, table football 2 (including English) with darts and many games, books, DVDs in English and French.

Cindy and Anita both adorable Shetland ponies will accompany you for short walks. Horses and ponies share a plot of 5 ha with small woods and a fish pond of 2500m² where anglers can attempt to catch giant carp!

By its configuration and due to the presence of animals, electric fencing, swimming pool and pond our area is not suitable for young children. The clean and sociable animals are welcome after approval owners.

An extra loft bedroom with 2 beds 1 is also located on the landing that leads upstairs from the kitchen. 2 extra beds are also available. Upstairs the large master bedroom with fireplace (ornamental) freshly renovated, with a king size mattress shape memory. Bathroom with toilet on the same floor, bedroom and bathroom both have views of the Pyrenees. Still on the floor, access by small staircase next to kitchen, lovely renovated half-timbered house is also equipped with a 180x200 mattress shape memory.

ancienne ferme gersoise au calme

Cadre agréable au milieu des animaux , chevaux , poneys , poules , chien .

Belles chambres mais logement à finir de rénover (électricité hors norme , piscine en mauvais état , salle de bain à revoir ) . Pour une longue durée , je ne conseille pas ce type de location pour les familles nombreuses car il n'y a que 5 chambres ( sans penderie et 2 sans aucun rangement ) pour une capacité de 18 personnes au total autant dire que presque la moitié des personnes doivent s'installer sur des paliers , dans le salon et la salle à manger . Sur les 3 salles de bain seule une est correcte les 2 autres sont très petites et sombres . Il n'y a qu'un petit lave linge et de petits étendoirs pour tout le monde . L'accès à l'étang nécessite de ne pas avoir peur des chevaux car il faut traverser leur champ pour y accéder . Il y a des marches partout donc je vous déconseille cette location si vous avez des enfants en bas âge ou si vous êtes accompagnés de personnes âgées .

Superbe gîte dans un cadre apaisant

Séjour réussi, le cadre est très agréable avec ces belles maisons en pierre et sa grande piscine. Le petit gîte est très fonctionnel et a l'avantage de garder son intimité par rapport au grand gîte. Parfait pour un séjour en couple ou en famille. Les enfants apprécieront d'autant plus les balades à poney et le chien Lola... Un grand merci à Rachel qui est une super hôte!

grand gite parfait pour 6 adultes et 2 enfants mêlant charme de l'ancien et modernité des équipements. la situation est excellente et la piscine très agréable les périodes de canicule. les soirées sous les étoiles gersoises se prolongent permettant de se poser et de se ressourcer. l’accueil est très chaleureux tout en étant discret. le retour à la vraie vie en est rendu très difficile. mérite largement les 5 étoiles.
