About this property

Welcome, Welcome and thanks for looking.

I am a professional woman, offering a lovely, light, spacious and very comfortable room, each with its own private en-suite bathroom, in my beautiful Victorian terrace house, to those of you visiting Brighton for any length of time.

The room has large bay windows, is newly decorated in neutral colours has a brand new double bed with orthopaedic mattress, wardrobe, chest of drawers and 2 bedside cabinets The room also has a 42inch flat screen TV with its own Sky box and all the movies. There are tea and coffee making facilities in the room and I provide fluffy towels.

Upon arrival you will be given your own key and fob so you can come and go as you please. Guests are welcome to make themselves completely at home.

Breakfast is provided in the dining room which is continental in style, consisting of cereals, toast, tea/coffee, etc. During the week, I leave early for work, so breakfast is self-service - but I am happy to prepare breakfast at weekends.

You are most welcome to come and stay in an enjoyable atmosphere with excellent facilities, in a fabulous location with an accommodating host, who is willing to show travellers all the best that Brighton has to offer!

The house which is just off the Lewes Road area of Brighton is excellently located for all the shops, cafes, eateries and buses of Lewes Road, which are about 3 minutes walk away.

Brighton city centre and the Lanes and Seafront are about a 15 minute walk away, where a vast array of bars, restaurants and shops can be found. One can dine out at some of the best restaurants Brighton has to offer or simply grab a bite to eat in one of the many pubs or cosy cafe bars. There you will find an extensive range of high street shops, designer boutiques, bars, cafes, the famous Lanes, Brighton Pavilion and many other tourist attractions.

Should you wish to smoke, I am happy for you to do so in the beautiful secluded garden.

I am happy to accommodate families/singles/couples/friends for short or long stays. The house is perfectly located for parents wishing to visit their student children.

PLEASE NOTE that there is a 2 night minimum stay at weekends abd you are welcome to check in earlier, if I am not working. Please ask. PLEASE ALSO NOTE that the house is also home to two adorable young rescue cats called Bella and Beau (sister and brother)

Ps. Check in is anytime after 1.30pm Friday-Mondays, and on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays it is 6pm, as I go to work on those days.

Absolutely fabulous!

My friend & I stayed for 2 nights, and would highly recommend this lovely place. Babs is the perfect host. Very warm & welcoming, and the property & facilities are fantastic. We were made to feel at home as soon as we arrived, and nothing was too much trouble. Location was great, with easy access to the town centre, either by walking or local buses (bus stop just down the road). I cannot say enough about how fabulous our stay was! We will definitely stay again, when we return to Brighton. Thanks Babs, you’re great! :)

Wonderful stay

Stayed at Babs lovely property for two nights. Everything was as perfect as it looked in her photos. As others have fed back, Babs is such a lovely person and the most wonderful host. If I return to Brighton, there is no doubt where I'll be staying !

Great place to stay

We had a wonderful weekend staying at Babs. You will not find a better hostess She couldn’t do enough for us but was never intrusive. The continental style breakfasts were great with huge variety of cereals bread yogurts and fruit. Well appointed accommodation with very comfortable beds. Frequent bus ride to sea front. Ask her about Treasure Trail.
