Recently re-furbished to a high standard this ground floor annexe apartment includes parking and is situated next to the beautiful Byes Park. Only a 5-10 minute level walk to the beach, shops, restaurants and pubs. Comfortable double bedroom; spacious shower/wet room; living-room with well-equipped kitchen area, including halogen hob, full-size oven, microwave and washing machine. Large flat-screen TV and good WiFi connection. Small shared outdoor courtyard area with table and chairs. Owners live in main house and are happy to help if needed. Well-behaved dogs welcome by arrangement. Good wheelchair access.

Sidmouth is a charming Regency town with an unspoiled seafront and many individual and interesting shops. There is a large, sandy beach at low tide and access to the South-West coast path - the visitor is spoilt for choice for beautiful walks and fantastic views of coastline and countryside. Good bus links to Exeter, Lyme Regis and other neighbouring towns. Facilities in Sidmouth include a swimming pool, an independent cinema and a theatre.

About The Owner

Deborah and John Chadwick have lived in Sidmouth since 2008 and moved here to be near the sea and to enjoy the wonderful countryside of East Devon. They are keen walkers and have a slightly crazy dog who likes walking too. They live in the main house behind the annexe where they run an alternative health clinic. Deborah is an aromatherapist and John is an acupuncturist, incorporating energy medicine into his treatments. John also works part-time as a pharmacist in nearby Seaton. They are happy to help with information about local amenities, walks, events etc.

Wonderful annexe

Spotless, cosy, modern with everything needed for a comfortable and stress-free stay. Ideal situation with lovely walks from the door and a short stroll from the sea. Buses to lots of interesting and exciting places. We are coming again next year because there is so much more we want to see and I want to beat my husband at putting!

Excellent place to base ourselves for our weekend in Devon!

The Annexe had everything we needed, it was very clean, well decorated and equipped. It only took about 10 -15 minutes to walk in to town and it was a lovely walk through a park. A good place to stay for a weekend.

Had a lovely stay in Sidmouth even though the weather was a bit dodgy. The Annex was just right, very clean and comfortable and everything there we needed. Deb and John very friendly and made us feel welcome. Would love to stay again.

It was great - just what we wanted for a short break.

We love Sidmouth and need somewhere to stay for just a few nights while we went to the theatre and visited old friends. This place fitted out purpose exactly. We were made extremely welcome, the apartment was tiny but pristine, comfortable and very quiet. 100 yards from The Byes and as one of our favourite walks is along the footpath to Sidbury, lunch or coffee at the Blue Ball and home again everything was perfect for us. Hope to go again soon.

An excellent property in a very good location; close to the town, beach, and the river and park.

A very well fitted out and well kept property, every thing we needed and more. Heating all worked well which was appreciated as our last day was very cold outside. Deborah and her husband are very welcoming and helpful. This was our second stay at this property; we will certainly stay again.
