My 1 bed flat is situated in a classic building. The rooms are spacious and the windows look on a Particular roman street. It is in the Monti district, very close to the Colosseum, Trevi fountain in the heart of the City center.
The Rione Monti District is one of the oldest areas of Rome and currently comprises the area That revolves around Via Nazionale, the Roman streets such as Via del Boschetto and Via dei Serpenti, till the area of ancient Rome such as Via dei Fori Imperiali and the Roman Colosseum. Rich in historical monuments and churches, the district of Rione Monti is perhaps the area most Frequented by tourists and Romans. The evening then becoming a real hot spot of nightlife in Rome. The main streets and small historic streets are full of restaurants where you can enjoy delicious typical dishes. During the hour of the aperitif, both in summer and winter, the streets are crowded with people coming to spend the evening in the most exclusive clubs of the city, such as La Barrique, one of the most Frequented wine bar of the Rione Monti District . And after dinner is fun in night clubs and cocktail bars to drink and dance until late at night, surrounded by the beautiful sights of Rome.
Stayed at this property for a week in June 2017.
Sam, who greeted us at check in is a really nice guy who speaks very good English. He gave his phone number prior to arrival and we agreed I would text him when I arrived in Rome, on leaving the airport. Subsequently, we met at the apartment at the agreed time so the check in arrangements worked fine. The apartment is as it appears in the pictures but would benefit from some minor maintenance. There are the basic pots and pans etc. The air con is good, with one wall mounted remote controlled unit in the sitting area. TV is wall mounted too. Bed is comfortable. The apartment is in a good location with a local feeling and with plenty of options for eating out all within a 15 minute walk, yet the actual location itself was quiet. There are also local stores for food and essentials. The apartment is ground floor with a few steps to access.
In summary, good option for a couple or a solo traveler that would be even better with a few minor upgrades.
Exactly what I needed for the 3 weeks I stayed. Great location being close to Termini, the Metro and lots of sights and food within a quick walk. Wifi was great too!
Ver y good
