Contemporary 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom townhouse, stroll from the beach

This very attractive, beautifully renovated townhouse is situated in a much sought after location, a fantastic spot in the pedestrianised cobbled streets of the Aldeamente with terrific views from the roof terrace. It is just a short stroll from the beautiful golden sandy beach and the Praca, the famous beachside centre with a good selection of shops, restaurants and bars around a traditional square. Although it doesn't have its own pool, most guests staying here just enjoy time at the beach although there is a huge communal pool that you can use for a daily or weekly fee. If you're looking for the best location in Vale do Lobo perhaps you should consider forgetting the private pool and enjoy a traditional beach holiday with your family where everything is within strolling distance.


The townhouse has a well furnished and comfortable living room on the lower level, it has comfy seating and Sky satellite TV. The stylish, modern kitchen is on the first floor with a dining area and access to the open air dining terrace. Also on this level is a twin bedroom with a door to the small rear garden, it also has an en suite bathroom. The master bedroom is on the upper level, it has an inviting king-size bed and has a separate bathroom with shower. Steps up to the roof terrace where you can soak up some sun and admire the views.

Everything worked out very well, beautiful apartment, master bedrooms for a relaxing sleep, best location with only five minute walk to the beach, super well-equipped kitchen - we had a perfect time and can recommend this stay to everyone!

The resort is situated on spectacular coastline and set in a glorious pine forest with two superb 18-hole golf courses, the Ocean and the Royal with the clubhouse also within a short walk of the townhouses. The Tennis Academy in the resort has first class facilities and offers tennis lessons for all levels. Vale do Lobo has fantastic beach bars and cafes, offering traditional and international cuisine. The fantastic golden sand beach is backed by red sandstone cliffs and washed by the aquamarine waters of the Atlantic Ocean every day. Less than a ten minute drive away is the exclusive shopping and dining in Quinta do Lago with its sophisticated atmosphere. Also within a 10 minute drive is the horse riding centre and a Go-Kart track.

For traditional water sports head into Quinta do Lago for wind surfing, jet skis, pedaloes and sailing on both the lake and the lagoon. A fifteen minute drive takes you to the resort of Vilamoura and its bustling marina and a variety of marine excursions, including big game fishing, charter yachts and dolphin spotting. Vilamoura is best known for its golf courses of which there are five. This area also has a number of water parks with the nearest one being at Vilasol and several others can be found on the N 125 heading west. A twenty-five minute drive west takes you to the small town of Guia, famous for its authentic chicken piri-piri and seafood restaurants as well as some nearby fantastic sandy cove beaches. The Zoo-Marine theme park near Armacao da Pera has a number of family friendly rides, sea-life shows and there is the opportunity to swim with the dolphins.

Close by is the resort of Vilamoura which has a stunning marina, several 5* hotels, three 18-hole golf courses and a number of villas in Europe's largest golfing resort. Whilst it may sound a bit inaccessible, the area is beautifully landscaped and has lots of attractions with the marina and its wide choice of waterside bars and restaurants a real attraction, particularly in the evenings.

The resort of Quarteira is a seaside holiday spot that's popular with the Portuguese, it has a fantastic beach and promenade lined with bars and restaurants where you're almost guaranteed great value for money. A couple of fish restaurants by the quayside are frequented by locals and are very good.

Just minutes from Vila Sol is the Aqua Show water slide park, for my money it's the best in the Algarve and has a number of amazing slides that confident people with a head for heights, speed and big splashes will love!
